Burlington Beer Works

This is our go to spot for brunch and dinner in Alamance County. We are there at a minimum of once a week but in reality it’s more like 2-4 times a week. The menu is small but offers one of the most diverse menus I have seen in my life. The dinner menu changes not too often but with features that change often. Brunch menu is old school southern cooking with some modern spins. My wife and I have never had to wait due to utilizing the reservation system they have in place. We refuse to go unless we have reservations. As I am writing this I believe we have one for today, later on this week, a dinner booked, and have a reservation for my wife’s birthday next month.

We've been here several times and the food and beer have been good! I love the brunch menu! My Glencoe burger and truffle fries were so delicious! I wish the dinner menu had a few more options, but maybe that's a goal for later on? Not sure if there's a kid's menu, but that might be nice too! The main thing I would like to see is a designated "host" stand. The sign out front says "please see host," but really it should say "stand near the doorway looking confused until someone sees you and tells you to sit wherever!" This has happened to everyone I've seen come in during the times that we've been here. We love coming to downtown Burlington and it's nice to have this beer co-op here! We'll definitely be back!

I would only return for the tap selection. I was looking forward to a delicious entree. I love to find vegetarian options and ordered a squash dinner. Staff was friendly but it took over 45 minutes to get two entrees with an uncrowded dining room, and mine was barely edible. I am not impressed and will not go there for food again!!!!! Love the atmosphere but not the wait time or the food.

Burlington Beer Works has great beer, great burgers, and even better fries. Seriously - get the fries. They have a huge patio for socially distanced outdoor seating, and all the staff did a great job with masks. I do recommend getting a reservation because they get quite busy. They also make great non-alcoholic drinks out of their cocktails! Overall a great place for dinner.
