Frida

Frida’s has the best Mexican cuisine in Burlington. The wait staff is always very friendly and they treat you like the family owned business that they are. I have tried a variety of things from their large menu and have never been disappointed. Their margaritas are fresh and simply delightful. Definitely give Frida’s a try over La Cocina if you want higher quality and amazing food with amazing service. (In the picture I had already eaten half of my chicken)

First, they were strictly adhering to the social distancing guidelines. The reduced seating and the server was masked and gloved. They were doing it perfect. Second, the service was great. Our server came to the table quickly and checked back regularly to make sure we always had everything we needed. And finally, the food. This was elevated Mexican. Not your normal run of the mill rice and beans. Each of the dishes we had was a step up from the average Mexican dish. The presentation was beautiful and the quality was great. The portions were still adequate without being ridiculous. I would recommend this for a date night or any time you just want to be wowed by a great little local place.

Stopped for brunch today and am glad that I did! Had chilaquiles, but with egg instead of chicken (they should add this to menu for vegetarians like me!) and it was wonderful! Best I've had in a long time. Chips and salsa were very good - thin crispy chips and very flavorful salsa. I recommend this place!
