Really lovely but simple place for lunch. Nice setting under a marquee. Good menu selection, pleasant service. A bit of a funny outside toilet, but it all worked.

Sadly we couldn’t get access to the ruin so stopped for tea and cake and look at this monster of a sausage roll ! Cafe prices were good, table was clean and we enjoyed the cake 🍰 …

Popped in here on Sunday for a late lunch after walking some of the Angles Way. Friendly welcome, cosy environment plus super food, and lots of it. Tucked away near the castle.

Fabulous little find! Covered open seating available as well as indoors. Truly dog friendly! Warm welcome. Timing great for fresh cheese scones straight from the oven! Highly recommended!
