Excellent BBQ! Loved every bit of it! Chopped Beef Sandwich was EXCELLENT. Mac & Cheese was superb. Lean Brisket was super moist & tender- definitely no-teeth approved. Smoked Sausage was perfectly cooked. Last but not least the Banana Pudding was AMAZING- it had the consistency of custard, (not chunky, no Nilla Wafers), and the flavor was sweeter than Créme Bruleé.

Consistent everytime and we have been going for the last 6 years. I get my favorite everytime chicken salads burrito. It really is the best! Very original and better then your moms chicken salad. Banana pudding is sooooo yummy. That is like heaven. If you are too full -Take it home. It comes in a little to-go container which is perfect. The pulled pork is so good too. You can tell Vic, the owner, cares about the quality of his food and he does not cut corners. Really one of the best bbq placed. Close to Buda, Kyle, driftwood and dripping springs

Great service from a locally-owned company! Food was excellent today and we will be going back! My daughter loves the pulled pork nachos and I agree they're awesome....they give you a large pile of nachos too. Brisket was delicious and wrapped in a homemade tortilla. Chicken salad feom here is uniquely prepared and really delicious. Well-done guys

If your looking for top notch barbecue in Austin on a saturday you are either going to have to wait in line for several hours or you are going to have to drive about 30 minutes. After trying this place I can tell you I'm going to pick the drive every time. The brisket is so moist and flavor with big tasty burny ends and the smoked chicken salad with pecans is out of this world!!! The giant flour tortillas really tie it all together, btw.

i decided to try this place for the first time. got a 1/4 lb brisket. there's nowhere to sit so i had to drive home and eat it at home. also, you order where the drivethru is so be careful you don't get run over. anyhow, i put the brisket on a plate. was disappointed that about 60% of what i received was just blobs of fat which i threw in the trash. very little meat left over. taste? meh. not as salty as i would like. very fatty. bbq sauce - didn't care for it, very sweet. well i guess you gotta try it once to find out if it's any good. oh well.

I finally got the chance to visit this place. So, it being my first time I ordered several different items from the menu... I'M GLAD I DID! Ordered the brisket nachos. There was so much beef on it and just the right amount of cheese sauce. Ordered half-pound of brisket & pulled-pork, both were incredibly melt- in-your-mouth delicious and moist. They make their own tortillas right then and there, none of this reheat stuff, and they are some large tortillas! Put some meat in even half of a tortillas and it is big enough! Another great buy was their Hawaiian bun, toasted on both sides and filled again, you guessed it brisket! I don't know how much is in there but that baby is phenomenal!!! Add a little of their BBQ sauce and bring that thing, whatever you put the sauce on, to make you smile knowing it's going to taste even better! I'm for the sweets, and the beenana pudding is totally-totally AWESOME! I'm hoping to go back soon cause it's worth it. Try it and I truly believe you'll be glad you did!!!

My nephew said this was the best brisket sandwich hes ever had! We got brisket, sausage, mac and cheese and the mustard potato salad. Everything was delicious and hot. We though we ordered 3 sides but only ordered two, they graciously brought us the third side free of charge. Will definitely be coming back!

My family has enjoyed Shugabees every time we have had it! All of the food is fantastic, ESPECIALLY the brisket and the chicken salad! Service is always awesome. We are always greeted with a friendly face. And of course, COVID guidelines are followed perfectly! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great barbecue!
