One word.. WOW!! now, I don't take curries lightly, but this was one of the best! So fresh, and so tasty. My partner and I sat outside on a warm summers evening, mid week, with ice cold beers and stunning food, all served with a super friendly smile! I won't only be recommending this restaurant to ALL my friends, but I'll be making sure to pay another visit soon!

Delicious freshly prepared curries. Friendly service and were very accomodating of our dietary requirements, being lactose intolerant. Cash only which takes the shine off a bit. They have a cash machine at the restaurant that charges £1.25. If they can get a cash machine installed surely they can get a card machine sorted.

We've had food from here before and really enjoyed most of our meal. Would recommend the papdi aloo chat and the dal saag which were both delicious and well spiced. The order was let down by the 'crispy honey chilli pototes' which were cooked frozen oven chips with onions and sauce. I rang up to check that it wasn't a mistake and was told that if I'd had them in the restaurant they would be different and there's not much they can do when they're in a tub. Bit surprised that frozen oven chips are used when everything else we had was so delicious and fresh and other takeaway restuarants use serve similar style fresh and crispy potato dishes. Did ask for a refund for this dish but can't do this online so have to go down to collect/or swap for a different item next time. Customer service was not the greatest. *edit. Thanks for the reply. The first person I spoke to on the phone was really abrupt and quite rude and basically hung up after telling me if I'd come into the resurant it would have been different and saying bye. Same when I explained the website didn't update to say the food was ready to collect or countdown to being ready. Was just told they'd pass on to the website people. The food had been waiting for 40minutes but no apoology when I rang or came in and explained.

In the last year it has been opened we have been to Msala library probably four or five times, during summer or winter, eat in, take away or in the terrace it has never disappointed. What I love about it is how fresh the food feels in your mouth and how ungreasy it is. Besides the undoubted quality of the food, I really appreciate how humble and friendly the hosts and personnel are. I'm really so glad Msala is round the corner from us!

10/10. Msala's food, reception and overall feel was great - definitely will be returning. The owner went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The menu has a lot to chose from - the owner was on hand to help explain the dishes. The servers were also very professional. Thank you again, we will see you again in the near future!
