Exceedingly good fish! Salt and vinegar was not overwhelming and added the right flavor. Cheese chips were generous as a portion and in their cheesiness. Tartar sauce was delicious. I got a large of each - I was exceedingly hungry, weigh nearly 100 kgs, and can eat alot for my size anyway, and I couldnt finish! Not only was it excelent food, but a very good price. Next time I'm in Bristol I'm 100% returning.

Just ordered a few lunchtime specials.
Amazing place! Wish I’d stumbled across it sooner! The lunchtime fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce was legendary, and son seems to love the battered sausage and curry sauce with his chips. I can’t believe this place has been here 20 years and only now I’ve noticed it! Will buy again.

The food is delicious, cooked with love and responsibility, I had the opportunity to see what is behind the kitchen, I had a very nice surprise, cleanliness, tidiness and discipline which is very hard to find in fast-foods. Patrons are very special and kind with clients. Definitely recommend... Enjoy your fresh food! 😊 ❤️

Good fish and chips. Have been a few times and to my mind the chips are fairly standard not the "mostly the scraggy ends" mentioned by one review and I rather like that but these were normal. Fish seemed fresh, tasty.
Doing a lot for socially distancing so wait outside on pavement. Not their fault, they are doing a good job, but until everything goes back to normal can't go inside to wait.
