Eclipse Espresso

“It’s not just another coffee”. The sign above the door says it all. I love trying out a new cafe & discovering another favourite little gem! Eclipse is small but it’s everything your local cafe should be, committed owners who understand the value of great customer service & treating their customers like kings. I sense this is a family run business, which actually sets the positive tone, there is a very relaxed & friendly vibe to this small cafe. You are greeted warmly on arrival & farewelled on your exit, it’s not difficult to do, but it creates that all important point of difference. You have the option of still or chilled sparkling water which is located in big blue & red buckets in the alfresco dining area, another nice touch! The food was fresh, delicious, & plated beautifully. Their menu is small but it definitely covers all the “go to” favourites. They offer gluten free, no GM, plant based smoothies & vegan options. Do check out the “specials menu” white board, which is located to the right of the counter. But, it’s more than the food & coffee which made me select 5 stars, it’s their positive attitude, customer care & value which goes into the dining experience. I observed a regular customer ordering his takeaway coffee, his dog seemed very excited - it all made sense when the cafe owner grabbed a few dog treats from a large jar. Even the dogs love the special VIP customer treatment @ Eclipse!!

Ginger beer latte, tumeric coffee, beetroot coffee... This place is great! It's become a new local favourite for us, so we tend to visit at least once a month for breaky and a coffee. The meals and specials have been great lately - there's always something new to try, like the breakfast burrito (pictured), the power bowl, or the breakfast nachos ...but they do change their specials every weekend so be sure to visit frequently! Great little cafe with a wonderful, friendly team. Definitely worth many visits.
