TLDR: Great beer selection, great good, great service - great!
Ambience: the place had a great chill vibe - with mostly outdoor seating. The tables were a little sticky.
Service: friendly and welcoming. I was also helped by the friendly bartender in selecting a beer for lunch. She offered some free tastings which helped! The craft beer selection is wide and excellent - I'm looking forward to coming back and tasting more.
Food: Wow. We ordered...
Mak-Guksu - cold soba noodle salad with edamame, mixed leaves, cucumber, nori, sprouts & sesame pesto dressing. Delicious - with some pickled ginger helping to tie the simple dish all together.
Kimchi Fries - fries topped with cream cheese and kimchi. Excellent. The crispy fries are nicely offset by the kimchi which has its spice dialed down nicely with the cream cheese dressing.
Crispy Chicken Wings - marinated & twice cooked chicken wings in korean batter, fried with curried mayo dipping sauce. Crisp coating paired brilliantly with the curried mayo sauce.
The food was a delight - looking forward to being back!

Food is good, Korean/japanese inspired, friendly staff, heaps of beer options.
Favourite dishes are the mushroom & sweet potato baos also the vegan bibimbap which i think is not on the menu anymore.
Nice spot, usually very busy at night so waiting for a table is expected and doesn't accept bookings.

Have eaten here a few times. Very cool place to hang out, and friendly service.
Food is a little pricey though. For two people, we ordered 4 different main dishes and drinks, but still left hungry. Cool vibes though, definitely good to check out if you just want drink and nibbles

The Best place to be.
We visit here for the first time and we are 1000% satisfied with all the food and the service.
Food is amazingly delicious, nicely displayed and good amount portion made us so full! and staffs were really kind and quick to respond.

The best always, never fails to impress. Dog friendly which is great, service is always friendly and welcoming. Sushi and sashimi is incredible so fresh! Our go to for weekend lunch with friends or just the doggies. Great atmosphere too.

This place is always busy- and now I know why! Delicious food, generous portions, super friendly staff, well priced and good vibes. My only advice is be careful with what you order, you can end up like me, eating way too much and barely being able to walk! I am definitely coming back though!

Great food excellent vibe. Food is all very affordable. Perfect chill first date spot. Personally love the soft shell crab and crispy skin salmon boa. The spicy salmon roll also slaps.

A friend and I went off for a quick lunch last week, and ended up at Zero Fox. Mr. L. chose the teriyaki salmon on rice, while I had a serve of okonomiyaki, and chicken and avo roll. Mr. L. was happy enough with his fish, which also had mushrooms, enoki and regular, and some green leaves. I was disappointed with my sushi roll. For some obscure reason, it had been smothered in a sweet but bland sauce! I have never had sushi like this, and I don’t want to ever again. As the menu clearly states strictly NO changes can be made, I fear that it would not be acceptable to ask for no sauce. I am bemused by this odd addition to a sushi plate. My okonomiyaki was delicious, thank heavens. Tasty and fresh, with ample bonito flakes and sauce. I drank a yuzu lime and bitters – delicious and refreshing. It is a pleasant place to while away some time. Basically it serves Japanese and Korean-inspired dishes, and provides wine, craft beers and spirits. Orders are taken and paid for at the window; dishes are brought out to your table.

The ambiance was nice but the service to order was slow. I think to improve/speed up the ordering process, it would be best to have two separate lines: one for drinks and one for food + others. Currently, the cashier is also the bartender and so the wait to get to order is a bit bleh. After you order though, food comes out extra fast. I thought the flavors were incredible and very hearty - plenty to share. Ordered the katsu curry, bulgogi bao, and kimchi fries. In hindsight, i could have done without the fries because there wasn’t anything special about it. The fries could use a little more salt and be crispier (i like fries to have good crunch) and the kimchi/white sauce on top didn’t really add much to the overall dish. The katsu was amazing: chicken cutlet was crispy, rice was cooked well, and curry was thick and flavorful. I ended up dipping the fries in the curry which saved it (lol). Bao was a favorite: the buns were soft and moist, bulgogi was drenched in a sweet teriyaki type base plus drizzled with a mayo sauce. Wonderful combination of flavors and textures even tho it erred a bit on the sweet side. Overall, liked the place for having a great selection of food for a good price. Paid about 50 bucks for three plates including kombucha drinks. Perfect night out!

Spectacular food at a low cost. Portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing. so far I have tried sushi rolls, spicy bao, octopus karaage, onion rings, Japanese pancakes. Everything was delicious, the bao were some of the best I’ve ever had. Good selection of beers on tap too!

Nice ambiance and chic atmosphere/location.<br/>Young lad who served us was rather having a pretentious attitude, not so pleasant to interact with.<br/>Food was very much overpriced, wasn’t something that would make me rush to come back in near future. Kimchi was a little tasteless, chicken wings’ coating sauce was just tasted like the one I usually buy in the shop and the meat inside was not tasting so fresh. Soba noodle was a little overcooked and the dressing was rather strange taste..not for my liking at all

I really like the concept of Zero Fox. What immediately stood out was the friendly staff and as a music lover, the charcoal drawings on the walls of notable musicians. The beer selection is good and the food selection is an eclectic interpretation of Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese. If you are looking for authenticity in the cuisine, it's not the place but the food and menu is worthy all the same.

Great ambience, although that does sometimes equate to not being a free seat in the house. Even though I'm not a beer drinker, you can't help but try them here, even if you're relying on the quirky descriptions on the board rather than beer knowledge! The food was pretty good too, certainly the chicken katsu hit the spot!

In a great spot for after work drinks and dinner. All things considered not a bad little spot. Cool selection of beers, when the waiting staff know what is on the menu.. And a good selection of casual dining Japanese food. Can be hard to get a stool/table though.

Very cool Japanese place. Order at the counter after finding a table and checking out the menu. The delicious food is brought to your table as it is ready. We had edamame with garlic , verge dumplings , chicken wings crispy style and a soba noodle salad. Again- as with most Japanese restaurants- the wine list is limited and not great. So if you like beer select one of the many craft beers on offer. My sparkling wine was overpriced and not great quality- but it was the only sparkling available. Our food was great though and the service was efficient and friendly. High and low tables outside. A couple of comfy couches too.

We tried this restaurant for the first time a couple of nights ago. We had vegetable curry and udon. They both were super tasty and healthy. The udon is recommended in cold evenings. Gives you a beautiful tasty warmth! It's a bit salty though. <br/>It is located in Tenerife. I love the location. You can go for a nice walk after or before your meal.

Good range of beers on tap, varied and diverse for all tastes and those that like to try something different. The food menu is great. Casual and relaxed to unwind and chill. Will I return ... For sure! Veggie dumpling were "unbelievably delicious" said the person who inhaled them.

This place was pretty crap. Tuna was not fresh, miso had no flavour, I didn't eat either of those dishes. Ramen was ok, probably the worst ramen I've ever had, but still decent. Staff were nice though.

Went there on a Sunday for dinner and to take advantage of the offer to buy a large glass of beer for the price of a small one. Ordered the large shashimi platter, the spicy salmon sushi and the spider roll sushi. The shashimi only had tuna and salmon and the tuna was really bad. It tasted like it's being out for long. The sushi was quite nice but the sushi pieces were really big and had a lot of dressing and cream so it filled you up quick. You had to order and pay for the food before you sit down, and the food came out relatively fast. It's a nice place to have a drink or two but not the best if you are purely looking for good Japanese food.

Easily the best "stop-in" place on the Teneriffe strip at this moment. Vege curry is my go to, it has a nice range of veges, and is tasty and filling. Izakaya style dishes like Sushi, Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki etc are great for casual group feeds. The excellent range of craft beers that is constantly rotating keeps things interesting. Owners have awesome taste in music to top it off. It's still building in popularity so check it out soon while you can get a table.

Zero Fox gives a surprising amount of fox about the food they serve and the drinks they have on offer. I fell in love with their food from the very first meal. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I go back every time I can for more deliciousness.

The SO and I rarely have the opportunity to have lunch together during the week. It is a shame, as he only works in the next suburb and there are a number of interesting lunch options down his way. I suggested – on a whim – that when Bub is at daycare the other week, I come down to have lunch with him at Zero Fox and he jumped on the idea – and his team came along for the ride.

Simple menu with items that go well with beer. The crispy wings with the mustard dipping sauce are excellent. Slightly disappointed that the menu has shrunk. The place could use a little more variety. The green curry sushi roll needs to make a comeback!

Zero fox is exaclty whats its name subtle suggests and is amazing!! Its simple you go up and order your beer/sake and awesome kimchi fries and chicken wings and you are happy!!! <br/>Service is simple. Food is outstanding and staff are chill. What more do you need! #heaven.

Ok but could be so much better. The sashimi was fresh and nicely cut. The wet and spicy chicken wings were wet but not spicy. This seems to be the trend in Brisbane but sometimes you need to go traditional. The locals will adapt

Another craft beer bar opening, probably not that exciting right? I mean we are pretty spoiled for choice now days with venues opening up all the time but Zero Fox stands out from the crowd for me. Located in the Wool Stores along the river in Teneriffe this small bar/restaurant is doing something different with it's food which is a big deal for me because I feel like we are nearing a saturation point when it comes to gourmet pub food and burger bars so it's refreshing to learn that Zero Fox offers Japanese food to go with your craft bevvies!

What a fabulous place!! Went for dinner tonight and definitely wasn't disappointed! The food was spot on, probably the best Japanese food I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed and the staff are super nice! Not to mention the endless options of beer!! Looking forward to returning again soon.
