This is our favourite Italian restaurant in Brighton. The food is great and the place is cosy. The manager is very welcoming and makes you feel like an old friend. I'd recommend Amafi to everyone.

My partner and I ate here last week and all I can say is wow. Customer service was impeccable and food was even better. After eating the starter alone we were already planning on what to order next time we visit. The most authentic Italian food I’ve had in Brighton. We will be visiting again.

Lovely little Italian restaurant just off St James Street, we visited early evening one Wednesday without a booking and were welcomed in. The smells coming from the kitchen were delightful! Fab Italian waiter, who gave great service. We ate meatballs, whitebait, king prawn linguine and aubergine parmigiana, all were very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend if you're in Brighton!

Fantastic meal for four for a birthday celebration. Each course was nicely cooked with great presentation. Service was great - attentive when needed but not overbearing. I really appreciated the call back when booking (I phoned at a time they were closed). Highly recommended.

It’s hard to create an atmosphere in an empty restaurant but you cannot fault the service and the Christmas menu was great value for money. Fried brie and portabello mushroom stuffed with goat’s cheese were delightful.

Delizioso e autentico! The moment you step foot in Amalfi, you realise very quickly you’re in a proper Italian restaurant. The ingredients were of top quality. We were treated some pizza after the owners overheard us talking about the pizza oven, and I look forward to returning to sample more. Would recommend.

We visited the restaurant for our anniversary and had the most wonderful time! The restaurant is intimate and cosy and had a very authentic feel. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The panna cotta dessert was delicious (so delicious that we tried it before we remembered to take a photo!) The cocktails are also very tasty.
Definitely a must visit if you are in Brighton, it might be a little bit further out from the town but definitely worth booking and visiting.

We had a bit of a wait to get in but the service was outstanding and it’s so lovely and authentic inside. The food was faultless and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It’s really good value for money too! Will be returning for sure!

Came here for lunch on our last day in Brighton and we're so glad we got to try it out. Service was super friendly and the food was delicious and authentic. We had the polpette al basilico, malloreddus campidanese and pizza diavola, all of which were flavourful and delicious, but we highly recommend the meatballs! We were too full for dessert unfortunately but we will be visiting again when we come back to Brighton.
