A great old time butcher with great prepared soups and meals. The breakfast sandwiches are the best on the island.

Great sandwich shop. Been to some well known sandwich shops nearby, but Ernest and Son is by far the best. Very friendly service as well.

This is the best place in Brigantine to get subs. They are so good, we have drivers pick some up to bring back to the office if they are dropping someone off on the island.
They make their own jerky, how cool is that?

Every sandwich is delicious. Personal favorite is the Tailgater with cheese.
Not much room inside and there can be a line to get in when it’s busy. Recommend ordering ahead.

I love local, family-owned businesses who care about quality and their personal reputation. This is one of them. It's actually a stand-alone butcher shop! And they do a good takeout hoagie and cheesesteak business. I had some burger patties from here that were juicy and flavorful on the barbecue. Stopped in for a chicken cheesesteak and it was good though the chicken meat was a tad dry. I probably should've gone for the regular cheesesteak.

OMG!!! Let’s start with the bread🥰- AMAZING. I had the Cortelessa Chicken and it was awesome. They’d run out of the soup I wanted and when I asked they prepared one special just for me! And it was so so good!!! Awesome place, fantastic food, great service. Oh and the little cutie behind the counter spending his summer off of school working- he will make you smile.

Great sandwiches and meat selection at a good price !! The Tailgater and the plain cheeseburger are phenomenal. Tried the trickster too, good flavor, but too big of a sandwich for me ( not that that's a bad thing >:^) )
They also have a lil market inside, nothing super fancy, but nice that you can get some fresh veg and quality canned tomatoes at a fair price while you're getting your meats.

Have gone there 2×. Terrific Meatball sub,the sauce that comes with it-too, too delicious! -Get to pick your own bread out of big bags just in front of the counter. My mate had a cold cuts sub, fantastic prosciutto! The subs are huge-which doesn't necessarily mean good- but they ARE HUGE & GOOD!! Can't wait to return! We take them down to the Brigantine boardwalk-waves,wind,sun,

Great subs and the chicken parm and Ziti were both good from the "buffet". When you are in the area and hungry, be sure and stop here for a blast from the past in neighborhood deli service.
