Star Bar Grill

This was the worst bbq I've ever eaten! The price was crazy high and the portions were horribly small! The house made bbq sauces were Disgusting! They tested very gritty and had bad flavor! My 15 year old son, who eats EVERYTHING refused to eat his food! That's when you know it's bad! $18 for a tiny pulled pork sandwich with a few soggy fries...$16 for uneatable chicken Alfredo and the $16 nachos were soggy and the cheese was clumbed and cold! This place is definitely not a good bbq place! We will not be returning!!!

My first night here and will definitely be back. The entire staff and cooks made my 16th birthday the best! Definitely a night to remember. The food was absolutely amazing and fresh. And the service was the best. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity . I definitely got what I paid for and it was 100% worth it. The atmosphere was overall great. Would 10 out of 10 recommended to anyone.

Read the reviews before we went and thought we would still go. First off, it takes quite a while to even get your food. My husband got the 1/2 rack of ribs that cost $36.00! He loves ribs so he was willing to pay it. It came with barely warm sausage and barely warm French fries. It was a very small portion and they were at best slightly warm. Then they brought out cold barbecue sauce! We made mention to our waiter about the cool food and asked him to warm up the barbecue sauce. A lady then came over to our table, possibly the manager, and told us their reasoning for serving slightly warm ribs. Blah blah blah. The whole dish was slightly warm. What's the excuse for that? I got the $20.00 Rueben sandwich. I had at best 3 bites and my fries were slightly warm as well. Bill came out to $72.00. The best part of the whole meal was the salad.

By far one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. We were completely fine with the 30 minute wait. We were seated and our waitress greeted us, after bringing out our drinks she proceeded to tell us she was going to take a smoke break before taking our order. Instead of asking if we where ready to order. After an hour of watching miscellaneous people walk in and out of the kitchen I asked to speak with a manager who just so happened to also be taking a smoke break and no one was able to locate her. She was just as unaccommodating and said that she didnt see any reason for our complaint. We had our food served cold and undercooked, our waitress never came back to check on us and I had to go to the server station to refill our child's drinks. The plates were served with a dead fly and even after showing the manager she said it was a grease stain. The prices were waaaaay to costly for that kind of service. 3 servers walked past me while trying to get refills and not one asked if they could help. We witnessed several other irate tables because of the wait time and the concern of the employees getting their smoke breaks. (Not against smoking) but clearly their customer service is lacking. And after watching random people walk into the kitchen I am a bit concerned that more is going on there.

The restaurant was clean , the staff was friendly and there was plenty of choices. While the Bbq was very good , it just wasn't great. Which given the competition that I've had a chance to enjoy over the last 17 years of traveling , that's not putting them down at all. They had a great lean brisket , the pulled pork was moist , the ribs had a great bite with a soft mouth feel , however the sausage was very average. Overall it's a 4/5 star for me. I will re-rate on my next trip , time to try more items on that never ending menu. Now...Get out there and Que!

Star Bar and Grill has the best food in the area! Everything they serve is YUMMY! Their BBQ is amazing with 4 different style of sauces. Unusually delicious sandwiches. Great Service I give STAR Bar and Grill ...5 STARS!! Family food for all and don't forget Karaoke night! Near the Wyndham and Diamond Resorts...Don't leave Branson without visiting this awesome restaurant!!
