Fantastic food and friendly staff. Advertised a "2 for 30" deal. We discussed the deal with the hostess and manager, and we heard both discuss it with the waitress. Sat down and ordered. After a 5 star meal, the bill came. Meals were charged individually at full price. When we pointed this out, the server said "I know that's what you wanted, but you needed to order two meats each to get that price. You only ordered one meat each. Sorry!" I'm not going to make a big scene in the reataurant over a few bucks, and I'm not going to dock the cook's share of the tip due to a conniving waitress. However, if you knew we wanted the advertised deal you should have asked us for the second meat when we ordered. Not sure why the waitress would blatantly play this game.

This has always been my favorite place to eat but after my visit on Saturday evening I must say I was disappointed all the way around. Food was not as good as usual. Scallops were rubbery, smaller portions, my flip flops kept sticking to the floor and the salt and pepper shakers were nasty. Service wasn’t the greatest. Hope they read their reviews or I will definitely be looking for a new favorite Japanese Restaurant. 😞

We had been going here for many years as one of our favorite places for Japanese/Sushi but the level of service and quality of sushi has really gone downhill over the last year. The manager there has hired servers that just don't care about service and sushi chefs that greatly lack in creativity. I'm a big sashimi lover and I got their sashimi Deluxe dinner there that they served on piled an appetizer plate and charged me $25. The presentation was pitiful and the service was bad. We will never go there again. Not worth the price for the food quality. Plus there of plenty of better places that deserve my business more.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. First of all, there were two cockroaches crawling over our table within the first 20 minutes. The servers didn't show any concern or sympathy and didn't even give us a discount. They wouldn't even kill the roaches for us.Then there's he food which I can easily say was the worst Japanese food I've ever eaten; The rice was unusually sweet and the noodles had zero flavor.Not to mention the cook seemed less experienced than cooks I've had in previous restaurants: he couldn't do the egg trick right. Overall, from the Japanese steakhouses I've been to in the Brandon area this is easily the worst one.
