520 Sushi

My husband and I love this place and enjoy both dining in or taking out. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is great, they give generous portions and everything tastes fresh. I love the sweet potato maki roll, the hand rolls are my go to. They bring the hand rolls to the table as soon as they're made which means nice crispy hand rolls; not soggy sad rolls :( like I've unfortunately gotten at other sushi places. The lunch menu has a little less option than the dinner menu but there is a price difference with each; depending what you prefer, I suggest looking at the menu and times each menu is offered so that you enjoy your favourites.

Not the greatest experience.... Food quality is poor.... Sushi barely has any fish in it.... Thin shreds of fish, overfilled with soggy breadcrumbs or so whatever they use trying to pass it off as spicy Salmon or dynamite rolls etc..... Even the wasabi is mixed with something to make it cheaper. Website is not updated, so prices showing there are not what's actually charged. Lady the front is super friendly, all other staff are not interested in having you there at all. Would not recommend at all.

3.5 Stars. Came in on a Thursday night. Was moderately busy. Good atmosphere, we were seated right away. The employees were nice but sometimes I could not understand what they were saying because of their masks and their accent (my white buddy could understand them though, haha). The sushi was nice... I'm not a sushi expert but I had no issues with the sushi. The other dishes were very good, my favorites were the cheese rangoons, chicken katsu, and beef rib. The only issue with the food was that most of the other beef dishes were not that tender, I found it tough. Other reviews have said similar things so be careful. Another issue is that you order on a tablet on your table but many times I did not get the food I ordered. For example I ordered cheese rangoons multiple times and we got a single cheese rangoon after trying to order it 3 times. Perhaps the servers lose track of orders and forget to bring you some dishes. Overall I do not regret coming and I still had a pleasant experience.

Order over $100 dollars of sushi - takeout. This used to be a decent sushi place. Now they rip you off and the food isn’t fresh. They even skimp on the soy sauce. The spicy salmon roll for example had pieces of salmon and barely any spice. Instead was filled with stale crunchy bites. Completely disappointed. You’re better off eating mall sushi.
