Toshi Japanese Restaurant

These guys are goood!!! We have been ordering here for a while and it’s always delightful. The veggie tempura always surprises us, this time they had a mix of Okra, onions, eggplant, taro, pumpkin and asparagus along with others! It was superb. Their pickle rolls and avocado rolls are delicious as well! Check out their menu!

I was craving avacado rolls and this location showed up on my maps for sushi rolls. Looked up in its menu and I see avacado rolls. I ordered it on phone and picked it up in 10 minutes. It's nicely packed and tastes great. I did not like the ginger and wasabi as it did not taste good to me, but avacado rolls with soy sauce was best.

A real great Japanese Restaurant in an unassuming Brampton strip mall. Really fresh sushi and sashimi. Really nice portions at some fair prices. We really didn’t order from the menu, we just asked the chef to make whatever he wanted. Next time we will go back and order from the menu. It’s not fancy but rather homey. It would have been nice if there was a sushi bar but the open kitchen made up for it. A great place for locals but it’s also worth the drive. Enjoy

This place is disgusting! As soon as you walk in the horrid smell is over whelming, then you look around to a VERY dirty place. This place is handling raw fish which requires a clean work surface. Against my better judgement I still ordered the spicy tuna rolls- I opened up the container and instantly could tell the tuna was old and discolored. I threw out the food along with the sticky chops sticks they gave me. Do not eat here!

Service was very friendly. Food was tasty and very fresh. Only open Saturday 5-10pm we were there pretty much the whole time and they didn't rush is until it was time to close up. They have Japanese tv playing, quietly. Cute little decor accents, like lanterns and paper origami being used as part of their wall separators. Not a lot of parking in the plaza. Quite a few spot are short term 30 minutes limits. This shop has a la carte, Bento boxes, and meal specials. If you are looking for all you can eat, it is not here. Prices are fair for what you are buying. I would go back again.

Dinner box was very well balanced and tasty! Salmon sushi and rolls were fresh and teriyaki was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The best aspect of the restaurant was their service! Very knowledgeable staffs who have actual knowledge in Japanese cuisine! Overall I had a good time in this restaurant with my family.

Decor isnt too exciting. Very attentive and friendly staff. The menu even provides tips on japanese etiquette. I've had better teriyaki elsewhere. The sashimi was a bit cold when you bite into it i.e. you know that their refrigeration system works well :). Other places the sashimi is a at room temp or slightly less chilly. Spicy salmon roll definitely had a bite to it which is refreshing compared to other sushi places who tone down the spice levels. Restrooms are very well kept.
