Not one for a review, but had to post this one for the two superstars!
Went for a few beers, while looking for somewhere to sit was greeted by the lovely Kay, who found us a couple of seats in the restaurant (went with my Dad). Once she learnt that we enjoyed a beer she took it upon herself to ask when we getting low (she knew the drill). We had a sharing plater and some little plates which was good value for money.
The highlight of the night was obviously Lucy (Daisy Duck) behind the bar!! Can’t dance to save her life but was good fun… she had a good personality though so we will let her off!

Good value for money. Staff so friendly & so helpful & professional. Mon (breakfast waitress is amazing at her job) food is brilliant, breakfast superb. Rooms are a little tired but refurb coming but I like the quirkiness of the place. Can't wait to stay again.

Ate some Sunday snacks and had a couple of drinks here.
It was all good, tasty, cooked well, just standard Green King food.
Service was really good.
On the outskirt of a small town, great place to grab a drink.

Called in here with my family (9 of us) for food.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised!
Ten out of ten from me.

The inside is betrayed by it's exterior, the bar is modern with a lot of wood, great selection of beers. The dining room is very grand. Although I stayed the night I did not have dinner here which was a mistake. I will return

Food was good. I had Hunters Chicken, but asked if I could have their kiev sauce instead of BBQ... Result! Gorgeous oozy cheesy garlicky chicken and bacon, with chips and salad. Staff were great too. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

We held mums 100th birthday celebration in the hotels restaurant on Sunday.
The food and service were excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Found this pub out of coincidence but boy am I glad I did, the food is fantastic and proper homemade. Vicky and Richard went above and beyond to make us welcome even moving her Car so we can park next to the pub with being disabled. just a fantastic place I'm sure we will be regulars from now on ❤️💗💕

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my mum, best man, my brother from Sweden and his wife.
The staff are amazingly friendly polite and helpful.
We all felt so welcomed the rooms were nice the food is great especially breakfast.
And the larger is really nice too.
I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Room was lovely with lots of little touches such as bottled water and great range of teas and coffees. We had a good deal meal but the staff were the real highlight, exceptionally friendly and helpful
