I don't think it was the best breakfast in 43 miles or whatever the billboard said...the service was pretty slow but I only saw one waitress and we were there on a Monday morning around 10. It was somewhat busy but not packed. The food was adequate but again, nothing special. My partner ordered scrambled eggs but got like an egg omelet??? See picture with pancakes.

We stopped here and got some lunch and breakfast. There is free parking in the back off the main street 1st let me say this upon entering they had set up plastic shields on all the booths. It was a very unique take on social distancing measures but it worked and we applaud it. The booths are a little tight so of you a big boy or girl you may want to ask to sit in the back dining room. They had lots of sanitizer and staff wore mask which was apprciated. We were from out of town so our waitress took the time to explain menu items to us. We had a scramble and the BLT. Both were decent the french fries were the natural cut type but a little soggy. The coffee cake that comes with the scramble was worth hanging around for....ain't gonna lie. Nice little place the prices were a tad bit high for the portion and quality. For 2 meals and tip it was 33 bucks. Larger portions and better quality at a perkins would have been less...just saying. But of you are in town check them out.

This place is cozy! Like your grandmas house! There is Free Parking in the lot behind the building, which makes it extremely easy to get in and get out. I never knew this in my 10 years of living in the BLA which is the reason I’ve never stopped here. Its historic, antique decorated & delicious too! Great portion sizes, amazing cinnamon strudel cake and so many breakfast choices. I will totally come back again.

Stopped here for lunch while we passed through town. The decor is very homey with a vintage feeling. The service was fast and friendly and the food came out quick and was very fresh. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and my wife had the bacon amercan cheese burger. Both burgers were delicious. My wife made a comment about how the bacon was perfectly cooked. The fries were also amazing. You can tell that they were cut from fresh potatoes in house. We are glad we stopped for lunch and will be back as soon as possible.

My friend ordered the Cookee Skillet for $14 and it seemed like a kind of small portion for the price. Plus they forgot his toast and made another trip. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich and french fries. Their french fries are homemade but fried from a raw state. Not only were they made incorrectly but they were inedibly greasy, and didn't arrive with my food. Despite the fact that we were here at a slow period (there were two other tables and one left before ordering) our waitress was not around. Would not recommend, will not be returning
