The Corner Bar

We stopped by for a beer and enjoyed an amazing Porter they had on tap! The staff members are very gracious and attentive and the atmosphere was great. They also have patio seating to enjoy. If we find ourselves back in Boulder, we'll make it a point to come here again and try their food as well. Everyone around us was ordering the Bison Reuben, which sounded delicious. Keep up the great work and hospitality!

Huge positive was the servers being accommodating with choosing a table. The beer was great and they had a nitro IPA which I’ve never tried before. I love rubens and was thrilled to see a bison Ruben. The taste isn’t very different though probably resulting from the process of making corned meat. I took away a star because we ordered the Brussel sprouts (on happy hour menu) and the sauce they prepare them with is way too salty. I stopped eating them (very rare for me) but I bet a lot of people would like the saltiness.

Don’t be fooled by the professional pictures of their food. Everything our group of 8 ordered was suuuuuuuper average. One person ordered the fish and chips, it was straight raw.. they profusely apologized and then remade the order, took the charge off our bill (great customer service, thank you). The second order of fish and chips was also raw. Almost laughable how that can happen. Either your frier is not working or your kitchen staff isn’t. Also our server was great, but should go work at a better restaurant.

Celebrated my late father's birthday here with my partner. Ordered the specialty burger with stuffed pablano pepper that was delicious. Our waiter Alex was fantastic. He mentioned that carrot cake had been added to the menu (and recommended it). He brought it out with a lit candle and made the moment truly special. Very grateful for his consideration and kindness, definitely coming back!

It was not enjoyable to say the least. My friend and I sat at the bar with Bruce the bartender. Right off the bat he gave me a diet drink instead of regular like I ordered. My friend ordered a martini and he stirred it instead of shaking it which was much to her dismay!! Then our order of oysters took forever so we asked for bread while waiting which was delayed. We each had different types of oysters and hers were not good. When he asked, I told him she wasn’t happy and he just ignored me. Oh and the bread came with our oysters! When the bill came he charged for the oysters and $3.00 for 2 pieces of bread!! I was so annoyed, but she had already paid the bill. She was too timid to complain! Needless to say we will not be back!!
