The food is good with authentic influence. The space is a bit ambiguous and an unfamiliar visitor might experience some confusion with the ordering process. They do offer phone orders which is probably the way to go. Call ahead and then pick up. "Monte Rico" is located inside the "Top Market & Deli" convenience store. Parking may be congested. The salsas in the white refrigerator are not for customers to open. Use the condiments to the left of the refrigerator and not inside of it. They have a big menu with digital display. Some basic signs and arrows might improve the ordering process and clarify etiquette for new consumers.

It's the little things that count and this little bonanza of superb Mexican food is a topper on my list of hidden secrets. It's tucked away in the back of a convenience store and so unassuming, there's not a clue to how amazing the food really is. It's also nestled in among pot smoking paraphernalia, so just be aware of that. But if you can get over it, the food is worth it!

Cash only. We ordered two burritos ($6ea), one with tripa and the other pastor and they were delicious. The pastor was amazingly seasoned. We were very impressed and will go again to try out the rest of the menu. We also ordered pupusas ($2.50ea) with carnitas, which took longer to make.

I lived in Mexico for 2 years serving as an LDS missionary. Miss the people and food. Have lived in the PNW for 19 years, this place is hands down the most authentic and BEST tasting "street" tacos around. The restaurant is inside a convenience store, which might seem odd at first. With Mexican music blasting, warm hospitality, and great food I always feel like I'm back in Mexico if only for a moment.

We love this place. It's in the back of a convenience store, but they do have a few tables if you want to sit and eat your delicious food. They're always so nice when I call in orders and my food is amazing every time. Love this place!

Great little known delicious secret hidden inside a convenience store! Tried it with my son the first time based on the great Yelp reviews. Took awhile to find but was inside the top Market & Deli convenience store and what a treasure it was to find! Very friendly family-run food stall with authentic Mexican staples such as tacos (La lengua, tripe, carne asada), excellent pork tamales (limited supply daily), carne asada plate and great homemade sauces, in addition to burritos, enchiladas, quesadilla and grilled fish fillet! If you are in the area, be sure to pop by to have a bite, and don't forget to grab a drink at the convenience store to support the local business as well. Will be back for sure. Highly recommended! 😁🌮🌯 👍👍
