Dig

Always come into this location during lunch, first time in for dinner. I had ordered a dinner box meal online and when it was delivered it was missing some items. So I came in myself to see if I could retrieve the missing items. I was met with the best hospitality by the dark haired woman that seemed to be making all the food on her own. She apologized for the missing items, made the food for me and was very sweet to my 6yr old and gave us each a cookie for our trouble. Will definitely be back for dinner.

I work in the seaport area and use Dig Inn as my favorite, go to catering option. They ALWAYS deliver on time and the food is still warm. The options are incredible for all dietary restrictions. The online portal gives you access to the full allergen list making ordering a breeze. I have to order food for our board members and local c-suite staff and ALL of them consistently rave about this food! What makes Dig Inn better than just great food is the dedication to customer service. I have called in before to change things to a catering order and the manager, David Shepard, is always so accommodating and clearly wants customers to have a great experience. When I go to grab my own lunch, the staff at the counter are always there to make sure you know everything about the dishes and make the best bowl for you. Can not recommend this place enough!

Just grabbed take out from here and I really enjoyed it! I got the Classic Dig and a make-your-own-bowl with salmon, broccoli, carrots, and rice (w/ pesto dressing on the side) for a friend. We both ate everything and were content afterwards and I imagine I'll come back here for lunch again sometime! There are two main reasons I give a 4/5 stars. The first is that it was more difficult to eat than I would have liked because the pieces of food they give you aren't cut up at all (e.g. broccoli, sweet potato, chicken, etc. Take a look at the pics. I think I'm in the majority opinion when I say I don't want to use a knife when eating food out of a bowl). I definitely wish that they chopped those items more in the restaurant. Sweetgreen does a better job at this. My second reason is that while the food was tasty, it wasn't anything that blew me away; in short, lacking a "wow" factor. This isn't a bad thing! Thus, simply put, this is a solid 4-star establishment.

Food is always good. I usually order for pickup so this was my first time ordering in the store. The girl serving me was pretty rude and standoff-ish. I asked for brussels and instead of telling me they are out she put cauliflower in my bowl instead without saying anything. Also I guess they were out of chicken as she walked away for 5 min without saying anything and then came back to finish my order. Like I said the food is always good, but this was a very strange interaction and put a bad taste in my mouth.

I recently had the pleasure of trying DIG during my visit to Boston, and I can't stop raving about the fantastic experience I had. First and foremost, I must commend the outstanding service provided by Mathew. He not only guided us through the extensive selection but also offered excellent recommendations based on my preferences. His friendly and attentive nature added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. Highly recommend it!

I will tell you I come in all the time and I'm always greeted by one of the best employees who has been serving me for months now, Adam is the only reason I still come into this store, there is a woman and I think her name is D has been the most absolutely the worst person who makes me feel bad for even coming in, I saw her fighting with a customer using the N word which was very offensive and was ready to fight this man. Adam was there and made me feel comfortable got my food and he also took the initiative to walk me out and help me with my food. I think Adam is a great server and Thank god for him because the girl is trash

Food was amazing! I ordered the classic dig bowl and it didn't disappoint. Best sweet potatoes I've ever had, all the veggies were cooked perfectly, so was the chicken. I also ordered a side of the brussels sprouts, Im glad I did! The gentleman working was extremely nice and helpful. Will definitely go back!
