The staff was so kind—they answered all my questions and prepared the delicious food quickly. There is also local art for sale, which added to the cool ambiance. It’s a great place to get some work done during the day.

Haven’t found all that many coffee shop/bar combos in Boston (there are tons in other cities I have visited) but I was so glad to stumble across square root. I didn’t get any food and didn’t stay for drinks after the coffee rush, but will have to make a return visit

One of the cutest coffee shops in Roslindale square. Friendly staff and cute atmosphere. They also have open mic, stand up comedy, and concerts regularly. It's a friendly neighborhood coffee shop.

This is my go-to stop for coffee on dog walks! I hook the dogs outside, get my coffee, and walk to the arboretum.
Music is a bit too loud for my preference to sit and do work at the coffee shop.

The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. We get them every Friday morning to celebrate the end of the work week. High end ingredients make them worth the cost. You will not be disappointed.

We came to a friend’s concert and it was amazing! The atmosphere for live music is great - there is a performance space with some lights. The sound is also pretty good. The food and drinks were solid and the staff is easy going and willing to help.

Also plenty of space and good wifi.
I haven’t gone during live music so I can’t speak to that but love this place.

Nice atmosphere. Drink and sandwich were hot when I got them. Quiet music in the background. Free Wi-Fi. Very friendly staff.
3/5/23 Place was busy today. Background music was perfect for this boomer! Staff was as friendly as ever. Nice clean accessible bathroom in the main floor.
