First time here for dinner with my cousins and absolutely LOVED it!!! The food is soooo good and flavorful and our server was super friendly and recommended some great dishes. My faves were def the ahi tuna tacos and the Camerones al Huitlacoche (YOU HAVE TO GET THIS THE SAUCE IS 🔥)!!!

Casa Romero is still a hidden gem in the back bay of Boston. We've dined here for 30+ years and the vibe is still amazing for friends get together or a date night. Hand crafted margaritas complete the delicious fare. When Mexican is the meal of choice, Casa Romero is hand down the destination in town.

Great hidden Mexican restaurant it's been there for years and is one of Boston best kept secret tucked away in an alley off of Gloucester the food is incredible drinks a great atmosphere is great can't go wrong or bringing a date or love one it can be your favorite little secret restaurant. Everything on the menu is good it's truly a great Mexican food with a great atmosphere to match I highly recommend dinning out there if you're in the mood for Mexican food 🥑 🌮.

Been here a few times and most recently sometime last week. The menu has gotten expensive while portion sizes haven’t expanded. Wasn’t sure if the cocktails were worth the price point or is it just that price purely because of Back Bay location tax?! Food is quite good and the ambience is solid.

Great Mexican food! As someone originally from Texas, I greatly enjoyed the interior design, food, and drinks. Our food was delicious and the baked cheese very fun. Highly recommend!

Don't get fooled by the shoddy backstreet entrance! The mattress lieing in the street looked as appalling as can be - at least there was no stinking trash heaping up...
This place serves great Mexican food at reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we were surprised at how painstakingly the staff cleaned up after a messy family with one little kid had left - a stark and welcome contrast to the not so inviting entrance. The missing star is for the lighting - it certainly was sufficient, but I like it a bit less dim.

This place was a little.hole in the wall but it was the best thing we stumbled on while out in Boston looking for some good food. Best guacamole I have had in a while and their enchiladas were phenomenal. !!!!
