Lucca

I loved everything about the delicious food and the service at Luccas. We were seated quickly and started our evening with a delicious Pinot noir, a calamari appetizer and then I had a entree of salmon that was out of this work. The only reason my atmosphere star is 3 is we were seated downstairs which didn’t have the same energy as the upper level. Loved this restaurant though. Definitely worth a visit.

So in a Boston for a hockey game with wife. Met a great guy and his friend at dinner the night before. He insisted we go to Lucca the next night and would call Sean to help get us in as a favor. Absolutely wonderful! Was the best dining experience we have had in a very long time and we eat out and at nice places often. The servers were so kind and very delicate and strategic how they approached and removed things. I ordered the tenderloin. Came with potatoes, and mushrooms. Cleared my plate. I don’t eat mushrooms but for the first time did. So good! She had a shrimp pasta dish. Was cooked perfect! Appetizer was the short ribs that came with gnocchi. That was special also. Perfect flavor and the gnocchi was light and melted in your mouth. Wow! Dessert! That I can’t describe well but was a flower less chocolate cake with cream on top and a sugar that looked like twisted gold. Out of this world. We almost needed to be wheeled out! Last I needed to use the restroom. No idea where it was. The host staff literally walked me to it. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you Ray and thank you Sean!! This NYer will be back and shout your praises everywhere!!

The pasta that I had was absolutely fantastic! Full of flavor & they gave me a lot of shrimp. I was very satisfied. The waiter was amazing and my favorite part of the experience was the bread they provided to us.. extremely soft and went perfectly with their house made pesto and hummus purée/ sauce! 10/10

Fantastic dining experience here with coworkers recently. Service is excellent. Food is on point although portion sizes varried. Meatballs are delicious and soft and scallops were buttery. Wine recommendations were superb. A bit noisy for a romantic dinner but for a business dinner it's a great. Top notch restaurant, highly recommended.

Late night date night at Lucca in the North End. Bar closes at 1am and Kitchen close at 11:45pm every day. One of the BEST lamb chops ever and my husband had the Lobster Fra-Diavolo, he loved it and devoured it. Got a cosmo and a glass of the Prisioner Cabernet Sauvignon. The service was outstanding. Our server Victor was super knowledgeable and conscious of my Gluten Allergy. Amazing experience!!

We had a wonderful meal at Lucca’s last night. It has an upscale, modern, classy aesthetic and the food is DELICIOUS. After seeing the portion sizes in Boston’s Italian establishments, my mom and I shared the lobster fettuccine, and — wow — so good. I could eat that all day long. Our waiter was an attractive and attentive thirtysomething, good job Lucca ;-)

I got the beef tenderloin and it was really good! Very flavorful and cooked just right. They have a very extensive wine list which is nice. I do wish they had more traditional Italian items on the menu, however, they do have some dishes that I’d love to go back and try. We sat right by the window and it was perfect weather for that. Very happy with the experience!
