One of the better sushi spots in Boone, maybe the best. Service was wonderful, shoutout Maddie :). The food was good, not overpriced (big issue in Boone) and portion sizes were good. It was also fairly clean, especially for a Friday Night. If you’re looking for an Asian place here in Boone, I would recommend this place.

Got it delivered once and it was so so but in person it was absolutely amazing! Went during lunch and got soup and chicken and rice and a spring roll! Everything was super good! Would definitely recommend for sitting in! Definitely going to try take out a couple more times!

Absolutely delicious food, massive portions - especially for the price. General Tso’s and Lo Mein were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, seriously.

The food has improved since I was last there, it was wonderful today. The service was much improved also. The portions are large, they're a bit pricey, but you won't leave hungry!

Taste has an expansive menu including Japanese (Hibachi) and Chinese standards. In my experience the food is very tasty if a bit pricey. They give HUGE portions, though. The setting is pretty basic but I keep going back.

My first time here, 11:30 on a Labor Day Saturday, seated immediately, drinks came right away. Soup came right after and lunch before we finished our soup. The Wonton soup was very flavorful! The General Tso Chicken was delicious! Very attentive wait staff! This will be my go to Asian restaurant! Prices are very reasonable!

Delicious food at a good price point. I love the poke bowls and my husband loves the hibachi! Staff are friendly and quick. It can feel a little hectic up front with how many online orders come in but thankful they stay busy so I can still get a poke bowl in town!

this place is a hidden gem in boone. if you didn't know it was hidden up the hill in a major shopping complex you'd drive right by it on the main road OR end up across the street shopping for grocery store sushi.
Taste Grill has an impressive menu toooo. Besides their menu i enjoyed their open kitchen & i enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere & noticed lots of happy faces on their workers.
i snuck by friday & saturday afternoons. i have no imagination. i ordered poke bowls both days.
i will say i was ultra impressed with the girls that took my orders, friday in person & saturday i did a call-in.
BOTH were ultra proficient & made TG's Build-A-Bowl process with a "This, That & an Extra One or Two of THOSE" EXTRA EASY
(they KNOW who they are)
if you're a poke bowl enthusiast, then you'll easily discover why i went back the next day.

Everything we ordered was amazing the service was awesome we only got lunch and the price was awesome.
My husband got the nori sampler and I got the steak and chicken hibachi and that was only a lunch portion
