While this location is hidden off the main drag, that is exactly what we were looking for to avoid the football game crowd. They paid extra attention to the fact that I required gluten free food and precautions. I had the club sandwich with gluten free bread. Service and food was great at a reasonable cost. If we lived here we would return frequently.

We stopped in and was able to sit our group of 3 at the bar. Brian took excellent care of us, made exceptional drinks, had us laughing and made excellent suggestions on our meals. We really appreciated the hospitality and the food and drinks matched his excellent service. Definitely keep the October Wind on the cocktail list. Thanks!!!!

Ate here in move-in weekend at App State. They were steady busy but not too busy. About a 12 minute wait for a table requested on the patio due to having a dog with us. A+++ for being dog friendly on the patio. The service was incredible, they were busy but we felt like we were the only customers in the place. Definitely team work with the service but our waiter, Davis was top notch. He brought water out for our dog, and just made it a point to check on us and offer suggestions/explanations when needed. Located in the Boone Mall but they have made the most of their space with great decor and lighting. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was actually a sandwich and it was incredible. My partner ordered chicken salad sandwich and the trout salad appetizer and both were out of this world. I will be back again and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a step up from fast casual, but not formal dining. We spent about $55 (appetizer, 2 main course, 2 cocktails). I'd say it's a great deal.

Moved back into the area 9mos ago and had run across this place. Finally picked up some food here and ahhh mahhh gahhhh..it's a good! Wife got the Blackened Mahi Mahi and I tried the Spicy Hawaiian Flatbread. Mama mia , are you kiddin me!? It's good stuff. Will most likely frequent the spot. They have $4 drafts all day every Thursday to boot.

I had the chicken and waffles sandwich with shoestring fries. Wife had the Philly cheesesteak with steak and pub chips. My chicken and waffles was a 5/5. The fries were standard. My wife said her Philly was bland and the chips were OK. We will go back and try a few other things, but it's worth a trip for the chicken and waffles. The server was really great, and we sat outside (which was nice to do in July).

We just moved to the area and were looking for a good local spot. We had the pulled pork egg rolls, and the Brussels for our apps…absolutely delicious!!! The sauce they served with the egg rolls was so yummy, and the pork tasted so fresh, and they were fried to perfection. The Brussels had the most wonderful sauce, and were cooked just the way we like it! For my entree I had the chicken and waffles with shoe string fries. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken and waffles was just fantastic. My husband got the Hawaiian flatbread and he loved it. His only complaint was that he ate too much😜 This is our new favorite spot!
