Coco Noir

Had a wonderful breakfast today at Coco Noir, the service was fantastic, extremely friendly & helpful staff. Prices are pretty decent. Flat white with hazelnut syrup was perfect! Big breakfast was decent it could have done with some fried tomatoes however. Very pleased I decided to stop by here today, made a regular day feel kinda special.

Great place, love the atmosphere. The decor is also really noir. Had the Avo Smash which was amazingly delicious. The poached egg was cooked perfectly and had a nice rich runny yoke. The coffee is strong which is just the way I like it. In the photo I had a sip of the coffee already which was why the froth looks a bit dented hahaha. Would recommend this cafe.

Had a large cup of skim cappuccino and a slice of orange cake. The orange slice tastes very nice, absolutely love it. But the coffee tastes very bitter and burnt with too much froth (even for a cap) . I complained and got another new cappuccino. She mentioned that she will make 1 shot instead of 2 this time. But, the new coffee she made still tastes bitter and burnt, maybe because of the coffee grinder was not adjusted properly.

I worked for one of the shops in Westfield Bondi Junction and I can guarantee that this cafe shop delivers the worst customer service. First time they charged men $3.5 for a white tea and the second time they charged at a different price where it was 50 cents more. Some of the ladies have strong attitude and can be extremely rude somehow. Whenever a random patron asked me " which coffee shop is the best ? " This cafe shop is never ever on the list as once dishonest experience is enough. The owner, approximately 40's look, who lacks of the crucial hospitality smily face should exam herself as to what defines customer service.
