Great authentic food for a good price. Have had many items on the
menu and they never disappoint. Their green and red salsa are both delicious and both have a good amount of heat to flavor ratio. If you want authentic Mexican food, and not tex mex. This is your place.

Fantastic place. Whether you get a burrito or a taco, there will be meat heaped into the tortilla. It’s nearly impossible to leave here hungry.

Gordo's has the absolute best authentic Mexican food in Birmingham! Everything on the taqueria menu is delicious. On the weekends they also serve up authentic Tacos Al Pastor sliced fresh off of the 'meat tornado'. The market has a huge selection of great Mexican products and fresh produce. The bakery has tons of delicious pastries. If I could pick one place to eat and eat until I exploded this would be the place! What a way to go!

This is the place to eat if you want great Mexican food. I’ve loved everything that I’ve tried. Their carnitas and pozole are 10/10!

This place is awesome. They give you the basic taco you want on two soft corn tortillas and you add the extras. Best tacos I have had in Birmingham. Will be going back. Price is easy on the wallet too.

Very authentic I personally enjoyed my experience dining there. There is a language barrier at this location Either know how to read the menu or know how to speak Spanish, I have not heard good reviews from other Latina locals who refuse to ever eat there again
