Spago

Came to visit Spago with my partner on a lovely Wednesday evening and was greeted with lovely staff at the door. Food here was amazing as we nibbled our way through the menu trying most of their entrees along with some main dishes. The highlights of the night included: Beef tartare- Super delicious tartare paired with a crispy brioche Scampi crudo- Creamy, fresh and light to the palette Lobster risotto- Tasty and rich in flavour All the staff were so friendly and attentive and overall I enjoyed the night without a doubt. Highly recommend to give it a try and I can’t wait to try out their sister restaurants at Chatswood and their newly opened store at darling square.

Had quite a high expectation before coming but that was not met unfortunately. The food overall was decent, entrees and desserts were cute, but menu choices weren’t all that attractive. Staff was friendly but not too attentive, took quite some time just to flag someone down. The booking system was a mess, but luckily we were still able to be seated as quite a large group.

Came her for my partner's birthday dinner. She absolutely loved the flavours of the pasta here. Better than anywhere else she'd been to. We both polished off our plates and got some takeaway for the next day 😀👍 Great work guys, just one tip, maybe an extra waiter, you guys managed well with 2, but I think you'd have less pressure on you with 1 extra person.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve come back here but I definitely have to say there has been massive improvement! The pasta is cooked to perfection and my husband and I were so glad their truffle pasta wasn’t super heavy as white sauces usually are. We were also given great service during our meal; the staff were very attentive but not overbearing. A great place to unwind and enjoy a meal!

We have been attending Spago for years now and they have always been consistent and surprising. They hand-make all their pasta and experiment with delicious meals and special dishes. I also try their steaks or ribs or ragu’s. My wife loves their Spaghetti Bog. Parking can be hard so try and park off the main road and you’ll have an amazing time

Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere for a nice dinner. The fried calamari was an amazing starter, seasoned perfectly and crunchy and lovely. For mains had the special, lamb shank with truffle infused mash flavour combination was amazing loved it. For dessert had the tiramisu the coffee flavour is strong and bold. First time I've had a tiramisu like this it was a interesting experience was delicious nevertheless.
