Great food and great value.
It's a lovely little pub, intimate and charming.
It was quiet when we were there (I think it's a pub that does more business early).
The chap behind the bar was great. Friendly and engaging (and pulled a cracking Guinness).
I can certainly recommend the 🥧

Nice pub. Music a bit too loud for the daytime. I only had a Pepsi but the food did smell and look great.

A group of us paid a visit one teatime for drinks on a Thursday. We ended up staying all night and participated in the weekly quiz and had a great time. We will definitely be back again for another visit.

The Woolpack is a small traditional two room pub close to Beverley Westwood. It has a cosy little snug and a bigger Room. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The important thing is they serve cask conditioned hand-pulled real Ale. A decent choice of beers always in top quality condition. I have been coming here on and off for over 40 years it's still a nice place not horribly modernised like a lot of pubs have been. There is a nice Courtyard garden at the back. Good food and dog friendly. If you want a pub where you can just have have a nice chat and a decent drink then this is the place.

Thursday Steak night (other grilled dishes available) 2 steaks and bottle of wine free followed by quiz. Nicely cooked food and local produce. Great atmosphere in pub and the service was excellent. Will be back for pie night on a Tuesday. Recommend

Aw, I love the Woolpack. Great snug, nice drinkie selection. Admits dogs, great for a post-walk pint or food. Top notch quality old school country pub of the highest order. Friendly staff and local customers.
Can't recommend the Woolpack enough if you like this sort of proper pub. Which I do.

Very enjoyable Sunday dinner in this cosy, traditional pub. The food was very nicely cooked and good value at £9.95 for an adult roast dinner. Our starters of prawn cocktail and carrot and coriander soup were very tasty too. Really liked that drinks and food were table service and our waitress was very friendly. I didn't try any on this visit but there's a good selection of ales on tap. Apart from Nellie's, I can't think of any other traditional pubs left in Beverley. We'll be back to try the weekday menu.
