Nando's Berwick

Today, store only had two staff members at the front store and the store was busy as usual, the manager was very nice and knows what she doing and had very good customer service, there was another staff member had no manners how to talk with customers and had very bad attitude, this store had lots them customer service since the old franchisee left this store. I would say whoever is the manger at this store should sack this girl otherwise will loose them regular customers. For today manager will give 5star customer service. Won’t be back to this store for sure.

Chips were amazing but we did a pre-order for food to pick up at a specific time for a dinner at someone's house. I was told it would be 5 more minutes and I waited 30 minutes. Great food but there's not enough staff to meet the demand the staff were run off their feet trying to complete all the orders with a bunch of people waiting.

Placed an order at 5:40pm and was advised it would arrived by 6:20pm. One uber driver cancelled because the wait was too long, luckily another took our order and waited at the restaurant until our order was ready a whole HOUR later. This store is consistently disappointing with their order times. I hope management is able to put on more staff or supply more equipment, whatever it takes to decrease wait times.

Ordered online for pick up, when arriving at the store 20mins after ordering was told it’ll still be another 15mins. Sat in store for approx. another 30mins. The hygiene was questionable. Staff didn’t have any sense of urgency to get orders out quick and kept missing tickets. They were more interested throwing food at each other and making jokes. When asking about how much longer, staff looked at the ticket, laughed and told me it’ll be another 10mins because the “chicken is now on the grill” it was still another 30mins in store for them to give our order. The same thing was happening with other people in the line waiting for takeaway. They also left these stainless tubs on the floor and kept walking past, kicking it and throwing rubbish in it. Seeing the kitchen from the dining room it looked horrible. No cleanliness in the kitchen and made me very uncomfortable and we did not eat our food. I would not recommend this nandos. If you’re in Berwick better off getting chicken from coles and putting the nandos rub and making it yourself at home.
