Imperial Buffet

We went here because we wanted to try something new and saw it had 3.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong the interior is very beautiful. It was said to have a sushi bar and a grill bar, but they would only be opened at certain times by the time we got there it wasn’t open til around 6:30ish PM. For us to be paying about $20 a person the sushi and grill bar should be open at all times. They do use styrofoam plates, cups and paper straws BTW. Not to say it made me and my family so uncomfortable because the waiters would sit at these tables that were facing us and they kept staring at us. The food is decent not the best though. Ice cream came in like those sauce containers with plastic caps.

So I used to eat here all the time with my parents it was fantastic food they had a huge selection and it was overall very enjoyable, and I understand the pandemic changed a lot but this place went down hill. We followed the rules and wore gloves like sign says nobody else was. They switched to paper plates and cups. The food was average and most of it didn’t even taste fresh even tho it was warm. There was food floating all over the place and my mother didn’t complain because someone else did before she could. Then when we didn’t eat anything but the rice from our plates and complained about it, they made us pay and leave. I offered to pay for the drinks because we drank them but they still made us pay the entire amount and leave. A Buffett is supposed to be an enjoyable experience and your supposed to want to eat more then one plate. I get better Chinese food at the smaller places then this. Plus we went there for her birthday because that’s where she chose and she couldn’t even eat anything she picked up.

Please do not come here !!! Worst restaurant experience in my life. Do not come here expecting crab rangoons, do they do not have any despite their website being littered with pictures of it. Our waitress was extremely rude, and so was the young girl, who was a cashier. We ordered Piña colada's and they tasted like soap, and were watered down. We were not gonna drink it, or pay for it so we told the waitress and they took it back so and ordered sprites instead. After getting the sprites we are told that we still have to pay for the Pina coladas because "we drank from them." The waitress slammed on our table cause she we made her get the pina coladas that they made very poorly and that we still had to pay for. So instead we said, make us another one, please. And the girl in the front proceeded to say "jesus christ get out of my face" after we explained the unfairness. However; there is this one super nice waitress who attended my grandparents at the same time, we cannot remember her name but she had short hair and was African American, total sweetheart, and we gave her a good tip as well. Of course I did not tip our waitress after being yelled at by two employees unhappy to do their job. Money is not an issue, we paid and made them do the extra work because there's no way you are gonna disrespect me and my family in public this way. My family and I used to come here often pre-pandemic and we haven't been back since. Be prepared to pay upfront. The host didn't even recognize us at all for a previously frequent customer. And the way they asked if you're having soda versus what beverage you are having with your meal because you have to pay upfront upon entering left a bad taste in my mouth. The food was okay. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. Stay away from baked goods! You can tell it was previously frozen and it did not taste good at all. I love coconut macaroons and they just ruined it for me. I am utterly disappointed and I will never come again. I do commend one thing and it’s that they switched to paper plates and had gloves for available use. Apart from that.. I stand by my thoughts

We normally go there ones a week around 3.30 p.m for dinner menu i asked for 6 oysters and they refused to serve it to me and I was told by the owner that she is not going to make it for me because they will be losing money like this and she walked away while I was speaking to her. Guys its buffet we should be able to get anything on the menu with the price that they choose to charge without any issues or someone watching us eating we always pay and give them a good tips Waitresses were speak Chinese and looking at me and laughing they are very disrespectful every time i go to get food they be eyeballing us we felt uncomfortable there . I ask them for rice with no vegetables and they pretended that they don't speak English And also I ask them for lo mein without vegetables for my son and I was told to speak to the owner Disgusting owner and Waitresses

The food here was tasteless (mainly the rice and shrimp) and the cashier/waitress took my drink to refill without me asking even when I said no to a refill. On top of that she was looking over my shoulder while I was eating and made the vibe feel uncomfortable. Not a good experience at this restaurant and the employees need to do better with their service.
