This is one of our favorite go-to breakfast spots in Berkeley, for dining either on their patio, in their dining room, or right at their bar. Everything they serve is very good, including the coffee (and cocktails, if you enjoy that with brunch). They tend to fumble a bit with the technical aspect of confirming reservations for a larger group, but the food and friendly service is worth this service glitch. Just make sure to call to confirm your rez if you have a big group. And don't expect all your plates to arrive at the same time if you are a large group, so this one more opportunity for a service improvement they may want to consider. However, we are still loyal customers, because all their egg dishes and their baked goods are so delicious.

Great food, great coffee, great service! Inside is kind of industrial chic - nice, but I LOVE the patio. I've had breakfast, brunch, & lunch - all were delicious. Yesterday my daughter & I shared a fried chicken sandwich and a burger. The chicken was savory, perfectly crunchy on the putside bit juicy inside. The meat in the burger was so flavorful. Mixed greens salad very fresh, onion rings crisp. Love the Ruby's Roast coffee - robust but not bitter.

Really good flavors for most part. Excellent customer service. If i may suggest a better consistency & flavor with Alfredo sauce. Have gone a few times and different guests have had the same opinion. But other than that the Salmon Risotto is delicious! Hopefully a mushroom risotto might work well too. Very clean! Complimentary sparkling water so fizzy! And did we say great customer service!?!
