Rasa Caffe

I love this café a lot. Their coffee and specialty drinks are fantastic. I have yet to try one of their pastries, but I usually just get the Rasa Coffee, it’s a tad sweet, plus is has cardamom and cinnamon; my favorite so far. Staff is wonderfully friendly. One outdoor table with some chairs is great if you want to hang for a moment.

The bag of beans I got here might be the best coffee I've gotten in the bay since moving here 2 years ago. There's a lot of good coffee in the area, but it's been a while since I've found something that really stood out and intrigued me. The Ethiopian blend I got is super earthy and floral at the same time, nice and energetic without being too jittery. Obviously made with a lot of care and attention.

We just moved to the neighborhood and I was excited to try this spot out! Coffee was pretty good (both rasa coffee and cold brew), slightly pricey for what you get but that’s to be expected in the bay. I was really surprised by the general indifference of the barista working though. He hardly looked at me and I couldn’t hear what he was saying bc he was always looking down or away. I normally always leave a good tip, (former service industry myself!) but I couldn’t do it with this as it was early, only one other customer waiting, and I was friendly to him I felt!? Maybe I’m just spoiled having lived near My Coffee Roastery for so long and their amazing, attentive staff, but it was a bummer.
