Stopped for ice coffee on a very hot Saturday. Line was very long so I went inside. Wow! Caicos! But the manager we helping get the orders out fast.

Let's see where do I start drive through it took 20 minutes from the time we got in line till we got our food. The first drive through window the gentleman (Dillon) was very polite and friendly but the second window she was not all that friendly at all sandwiches was thrown together sloppy fries was cold. I wouldn't recommend this place to eat.

Kiosk orders efficient and fast. Staff friendly and professional. Restrooms large and well maintained. Food delicious as always.

My local McDonald's, they usually fare pretty well, most times lines are long but the food is usually hot and most of the time it's all right. They do a great job keeping the inside clean as well!

Food was raw. Pinkest burger I have ever seen. This can not be safe to be served this way. Started eating and threw it out. Would have went back but time did not allow. McDonald's should be ashamed.

So, I am a local to this area. As anyone with the ability to physically SEE can tell, there are not very many options in Berkeley Springs as far as fast-food, or eating out in general goes. As a result, I do find myself frequenting this place of business.
To be perfectly transparent, I enjoy McDonald’s food, I’m a 29 year old human.. it’s delicious. I have 5 children, we can get down with a McNugget.. ya know? I also, don’t ALWAYS have the time to prepare a 3 course meal after working, and resorting to take-out is sometimes the only feasible option.
Unfortunately, it’s an issue to some of their employees that I frequent this restaurant, but that I complain when my order is wrong, or when other guests are served before me.
Not only do I receive a hilarious amount of attitude at the drive-thru menu, and windows- but now, I can even enjoy being ‘made fun of’ for eating at this restaurant regularly, ON SOCIAL MEDIA!
For a quick example, this morning, I was in a hurry to get to work (as most of us are) and I didn’t have time to put anything together for myself at home prior to leaving. I literally said to my husband ‘f*** it, let’s try McDonalds, so I don’t die..’ because I have a severe metabolic disorder, which requires me to make the decision to either eat, or become hospitalized with severe tachycardic episodes, fainting, and other symptoms. Not that that’s relevant— just thought I’d add.
We arrive at the drive-thru and chose to go to the menu on the right. I told my husband what I’d like: ‘a number 7, with a sprite and a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle’. The person on the headset proceeded to take orders from 3 cars in a row from the left lane, and completely neglect the fact that there’s a right lane at all. When we were given an opportunity to order, my husband JOKINGLY said ‘thanks for taking my order!’ And the person responded with ‘yeah sorry I’m really busy here.. what do you want?’ So, he places my order and we’re told to continue to the 2nd window. We pull to the 1st window, because that’s where payment is typically transacted & we were confused and thought the person on headset had possibly mistakenly said ‘window 2’- we wouldn’t want to skip the payment process.
We get to the first window and learn that the vehicle ahead of us paid for our order, and then the person closed the window and continued taking more orders. We waited patiently and let them know that we, too, would pay it forward and covered the balance for the car behind us.
I receive my order at window 2, and I’m completely missing the sandwich he asked for, and had to go inside to ask for it. The people inside responded very professionally (aside from grabbing my husbands hand… ?) and they corrected the issue and even gave me a pie for my inconvenience 😇. I was satisfied and grateful, and moved on.
I did post while waiting for my order, on my personal Facebook page that left lane was receiving priority today for any locals who were unaware- and now, hours after the event, the person who was on headset this morning, has taken it upon themself to make public posts stating that there’s an issue with the fact that I continue dining at this restaurant, if my orders are always wrong.
I’m sorry, I thought it was best to continue supporting this business, and be optimistic that our orders would be correct with more training and such.. but apparently, it is a goal of this locations, to get one’s order wrong so many times, that they stop coming to the facility altogether.
Sounds like a fantastic business plan.
I guess I’ll keep my complaints to myself and continue to eat food I didn’t order, or tell my children ‘they forgot one of your meals, so - ROCK PAPER SCISSORS, whoever loses doesn’t get dinner today!’
But hey, I will honestly say- I’ll be back 😜!

It’s like they cooked the meat on the wrong grills. The McDouble was burnt and the Quarter Pounder was raw. Grabbed something on a trip and not worth driving a hour to get a refund. Seeing a similar review as well from 3 weeks ago. Gonna make someone sick with this nonsense.
