Burger Shack

Great local spot. The meatloaf plate, fried squash, and mashed potatoes all made fresh. Owners are a very nice family. With the food being made fresh when you order can be a wait during peak hours. I recommend if in hurry to call ahead for pick up if you are limited. I have done this a couple of times and always ready when they said it would be.

Driest burger. Use to love this place, always ordered the open face chili cheese burger. Today I wanted somethingdifferent. Just a regular bacon cheese burger. Got the burger delivered to me by bite squad. And its burnt. Very crispy. The kicker is, I asked for it to be made medium rare. Just disappointing. Its not even a burger patty. Not really sure what it is. For a place being so pricy, they should give you a better burger then this. The fries are McDonald's fries. Just more expensive. At least my chocolate malt was good.

Just a good old fashioned burger, it just works!™. The miracle whip instead of mayo was a little bit of an odd choice, but still good. The fries were a little bland, but there was an abundance of them. The atmosphere is very "southern hospitality" sort of place. I'd recommend eating here, and I'll probably be eating here again soon.
