A very unique place to stay in Bangalore, which is situated in the central Bangalore but still has a different atmosphere all together, it's an escape from the city life within the city

It is a nice place to hang out. Calm and quiet if there are no functions in the adjoining area. Service is very slow but does not matter if you are planning to stay for a long time. They have stopped serving draught beer..

Four couples decided to visit this place for lunch.
It's part of a hotel complex Jayamahal Palace hotel, tagged as a "Heritage Hotel"
The parking next to the restaurant was taken up by visitors to a handicraft fair being held on the grounds nearby.
The ambience reminded me of an old gymkhana club with younger staff.
Wicker chairs around a coffee table in a large covered verandah made for a comfortable sitting.
No music allowed for easy conversations.

Utterly disappointed... The restaurant has turned vegetarian and no alcohol is being served. We used to go there often for leisurely sunday brunches. Guess I won't be going there anymore.

Finding Gallops was pure happenstance. It’s snuggled along the Jayamahal Palace complex. A very chilled out place. Definitely a place to visit to be away from the din of Bangalore.
