Waffle House

Great 24 hour breakfast food! I got the All Star, but I ordered an extra egg, and extra hash browns. Ordered the 3 eggs over medium, and the hash browns with onion and cheese. Everything came back perfectly cooked. Only minor complaint was my first cup of coffee was hot, but didnt taste fresh. My second was hot and tasted freshly made. Certainly not enough to complain about. Overall an excellent breakfast!

5 stars for service. I've always liked the All Star breakfast, but it has always been too much for me to eat, so I ate on it for two days. The lady that actually served me didn't seem like she was having the best day, but she was nice. The manager and cook were sweet. Even though it was takeout and it was only for me I left her a $5 tip because I hoped that it would help brighten her day a little. You never know what someone is going through.

Very busy; they seemed to be understaffed, so that there was a long wait for food, and at least one item was left off and we had to ask for it. Cancelled my coffee for the same reason; by the time I realized I wasn't going to get it and was able to get wait staff's attention, I was mostly done with my food. Waitress was nice and food was good though....just don't eat at Waffle House when it's busy.

You got to give the place an 'E' for effort. The food was interesting. I don't know the last time I ate at a waffle house but I figured heck I'm in Texas I might as well give it a try. My sister, brother & I got here at about 9:30pm and there was only one waitress and the cook. She was certainly friendly enough but was a bit overworked. Not her fault, I blame that on management. She was friendly enough and like I said the food was interesting. I've never had a patty melt on Texas toast before but overall it was pretty good. My sister got the grits which she thoroughly enjoyed and my brother got a couple of cheeseburgers which he also seemed to enjoy. Love the fact that they were opened when every other place that we had tried was closed for the evening and their prices were quite reasonable.

It was a cold day. Service was good. The employees were giving good service with smiles. The restaurant was clean. The restroom also. Food was looking good and tasted good also. Only one complaint...there was no option for hot cocoa. I was told that cocoa is no longer an item on the menu. I really had my taste buds ready for hot cocoa. Please put it back on the menu.!!
