Peking House

From now on, I ca n’t eat anymore. The main reason is that the store rent is too expensive, and the landlord is a very unfriendly person. The age of the house is very old, and the landlord never makes repairs to the house. The roof is leaking, the parking lot is full of puddles, it rains heavily, and the air is old and the winter is cold and the summer is hot. These landlords are unwilling to share a penny for maintenance. The location of the restaurant is on the side of the road, but since the road was repaired, the car could not turn in directly. It had to come in a circle from the back, which reduced the number of customers. Since the road was repaired, the business has been greatly affected. In addition to the occurrence of this epidemic, the landlord was reluctant to provide any help, which made the restaurant unsustainable and had to close its doors now. I was so sad when I heard this news! I will never eat such good food again.

We’ve never actually sat in to eat, but my husband and I get to go plates here all the time! The food is so super good, every time we’re hungry for asian food we come here no question! I love the sushi and they’re not too expensive honestly. They weigh your plates and charge that way (i’m not sure exactly how much per lb) but tonight ours cost $12.60 for both plates! The staff is always nice too!

We’re from out of state so this was our first time dining in. There was a decent selection/variety of food & it was pretty good. The fried rice was under cooked though. Also I see a lot of people who gave 1 star because the food wasn’t fresh... I recommend going around the time they open. We went around 12 & everything was pretty good.

My previous review was hard and cut to the bone but I believe in second chances. Before the seafood delight was not seasoned and wife said it tasted like it was cooked in water. I am glad that Peter is back in the kitchen. I had one complain this time the ribs were not as tender as I like ~ fall-off-the-bone one of the reason I've been a costumer for some 10 years. It is winter time now and the restaurant is comfortable inside ~ due to no AC in the summer time was a big let down and I hope the problem is fixed by the time spring and summer arrives again ~ even though I like the food I like to be comfortable when I sit down to eat and when I bring company and tell them how nice the place is I don't want them to experience a let down ~ then it looks bad on me. Only other problem with the place is of no fault of the owners, the continuous road construction I feel has hurt this restaurant and other businesses along this part of Hwy.21 it is a total mess but I think it is worth peoples while to make the turn around and give the Piking House a try..
