Best fish and chips this side of Bath.
My only gripe is they randomly close for a couple of months with no warning from time to time. Which is very frustrating when you drive there hungry for fish and chips!

Went here for the first time. Lovely food. Medium chips are huge! Would feed 4 people.

A solid 4.5 stars. It's our favourite local F&C in Combe Down/Odd Down. Great portions (medium is large!) with friendly staff.
There is another chippy further down the hill with better chips but it would be a disservice to name them here.

The fish is tasty; the chips are probably the best take-away ones I've tasted in Bath; the portions are generous (regular is too big for me actually); and the staff are pleasant and cheerful. What more could you want?!

The fish and chip meals myself and my family have are often cooked well and portion sizes generous. The pricing is good and a suitable option if we need a meal quickly after a day's out. Easy walking distance to a bus stop and well packaged food. Queues can get a little busy at times, so you may have to wait.
