Went in to see this place as a possible wedding reception meal provider.
Loved the ambience, the staff, the look and smell of the food being served !
Sadly, the function room is a little too tight for our requirements...

We had dinner last night @ The Walcot. A very happening place, busy but in a good way. The staff were on point, and the food was exceptional.

Superb Sunday roast my children assured me. My hake was absolutely delicious, but I forgot to take a pic. And the birthday fudge was as delicious.
The venue was stunning, staff lovely, food superb.
All perfect and then a minibus arrived with 20 or so ‘patrons’.

Excellent service and top food! We had the roast which was excellent - generous portions and cauliflower cheese to die for! Lots of roasted vegetables - too
many different veg to name! Plenty of tasty home
made gravy. I would not usually have a roast but was recommended and it was delicious.

I popped in solo for some afternoon snacks and wine. Service was good and food was good, although food presentation was not as flash as what they post on IG.

We walked into the Dilly bar without reservations and the staff was extremely helpful in sitting us in the bar with full menu. As long as they know up front you want to dine in the bar they are ok with it.
We had steak and fries with some really nice wines but skipped desert as we were too full. Really satisfied as our last meal in England prior to returning home.
