Sunday and not busy. My order was simple hunger buster no mustard no onion no cheese. Got the no cheese but plenty of mustard and plenty of onions. Bun was cold and stale. Did not have availability of a large french fry no options given. Staff was more like zombies the employees. Tables were dirty. Eating here many times over the years first time I felt necessary to leave a review

Lady taking orders was great, good customer service. However the place had no Franchise cups, we settled for white Styrofoam cups with lids that don't fit. (Thankfully Warned by the cashier to be careful). Blizzard served, double cup since the original Styrofoam cup broke in presentation and for the first time not served upside down....lol.

I was just there ordered my tacos and large drink and large Fries,
The girl at the cashier was super friendly
I told them about my previous time I was there that they didn't give me much taco meat it was just lettuce and tomato.
This time the french fries were way too salty,
It does not need that much salt.
These employees just does not care and does whatever they want.
Another thing is where is the supervisor
The supervisor should supervise.
No discount or anything like that.
Like whatever happened to looking out and caring for the customer.
I am getting really tried of these employees and restaurants
This will probably be my last time eating over here at dairy queen in Bastrop.
Giddings employees and supervisors are SO much BETTER.

I would like to shout out Dairy Queen in bastrop texas! Always clean environment and restrooms, super awesome and fast pace staff. Food is always great and a big shout out to Janell, I'm not sure if she is the manager but her great customer service and friendly smile is always amazing!!! I hardly like to eat inside places, but this is always a pleasure!! No I'm not related to anyone here. I just give credit where it is due!!! Thank you team Dairy Queen!!!!

Ordered 3 meals no mustard received 2. Waited another 5-7 minutes in a dead DQ for them to come back and I told them I was missing my meal. They questioned me and I pulled out my 2 kids meals in a small bag. Waited another 10-15 minutes for my meal to come home and have mustard on it. Made me a sandwich and will need to drive back to get my order right... that wont be till tomorrow. Fast food is the point of not making food at home smh! Arnell the manager hung up as I explained after calling 5 times with no luck of anyone answering. Then calling back another 5-6 times to speak to the manager himself again. So professional smh!

Horrible service, worse food, lack of responsibility. Ordered our dinner from dairy queen through door dash. I paid extra for my husband's jalitos in the 4 pc steak finger basket. I also had a chicken baskets 4 pc, another 4 pc steak basket, a kids burger meal and lastly a crispy chicken salad. It arrived 30 min late, when it did arrive the food was cold, none of the baskets had gravy or bread, the amount of salad in the bowl was less than a 1/4 full ( the size of 2 oreos (and I'm being generous here). I packed it up and took it back with my receipt to dairy queen. I explained the situation, showed my receipt, when the girl behind the counter was not interested in. She said "oh, i told the driver we didn't have bread or gravy and we didn't get jalitos in. She refused to refund the money for just the food that was missing and told me to take it up with door dash. When I asked who her manager was she stated she was. I again explain that I needed to speak with her manager (to find out why they didn't call to tell me they couldn't fill mu order) She repeated "I am." I said honey, I asked for your boss, you are clearly not the owner or you wouldn't be so careless about this. She said I can't give you their number. I explained to her that I never asked for their number just their name. She then refused to give me their name. I told her, that's fine I'll find it either way.

This Dairy Queen just getting worse and worse. I wouldn’t waste my time or money there. Ask them to say your food orders back to you, cause they don’t. Ask for a receipt, cause they won’t ask if you want it or not. Check your order before you leave the window or you’ll be upset when you get home.

I had issues with hearing while ordering, 3 meals ordered only received 2. Had to wait for 3rd once discovered. Quality of food was just not what DQ is known for. Then place just closed while cars were in line, hours before closing time. They are just struggling for sure. Bastrop is a difficult town to get good food in. Noone wants to work fast food. It's been this way for a long time. Just seems worse now with companies trying to survive. Good luck DQ. !!
