Ho Palace

Lots of choices for food here and at a convenient spot near a Valero gas station and a cute little liquor store. The staff is nice and knows the menu very well! Fast service I only have to wait a few minutes for delicious food. They have lots of vegetable options as well and are more than happy to substitute other dishes. It's a small restaurant for cozy dining or also good for takeout!

This place rips you off!! I ordered two beef lo mein’s and when I arrived to pick up my food the employee at the front desk told me my total was $46 and gave me no receipt!!! I was in a rush at the time and I completely ignored that fact that I was charged $46 for two $10.95 meals which should have costed $22 give or take a few cents with taxes included. I obviously realized later I was stolen from. So buyers beware, always check how much you’re food costs or just don’t even go here at all!

Well, I wanted to give them another try since I live within walking distance and it had been a while since my last experience here. This time I ordered chicken lo mein w/ extra onions. I got no onions at all.... noodles seemed a little over cooked but not horrible. I can best review the overall experience as mediocre. Would probably rather just go to Subway next door instead.

Food was okay, flavours not bad. Service was poor. I ordered the Happy Family that had quite a bit of sauce. It was served on the same plate with the rice and the roll plopped on top. Not pleasing to the eye at all and the sauce made my rice quite wet, in the end I only ate the bits of dry rice and the meat and left the rest. Wait staff did not check on me during the meal and only came to me with my cheque after I pushed my dish aside. Also if you're going there for a 'quite time' your disturbance would not be other diners but the staff themselves who spoke quite loudly amongst themselves and one lady in particular was on her phone talking quite loudly and without a care in the world for the 25 mins I was there.

Ho palace is great. The food there is amazing!! I love the vegetable, and there soups are good. I love all the food they have there. There is stores near the restaurant as well. There is almost no people there even at dinner and lunch. I love near by to this place and have eaten here 20+ times at the time of writing this review. There is those toy machines with cheap plastic toys and some good candy. The machines are those ones that take only quarters that can be found a almost all arcades and at many stores so this isn't the only place to find them. I do not extremely like the toys/candy they have but love the food so much. I just want to eat there all the time but I sadly can't. I just love there food so much. I think the egg rolls are good food and so is the vegetables. The shrimp is very good to. I like the soup. There tea is good too. The tea I think is jasmine tea. I just love the food a lot. You can order in and then come and get your food but I have never done that and I am not aware of any delivery to your home/work so you will need to go to the restaurant to get your food. The only good thing about ordering before you go is that your food will be ready to go with you. You will not have to wait nearly as long for the food if you order ahead. I love there food and yes it is pretty cheap for a restaurant. Please note the restaurants size is very small. There is a short hall with a small wall next to you as you walk in so the restaurant may not look like the restaurant your looking for. You should go there. It is great. I hope you like it's food.
