Absolutely love this bar! Always an amazing selection of cheeses which are beautifully presented and served. The owners and staff are always friendly and attentive and there is a lovely, chilled out ambiance so you immediately feel very welcome and relaxed. Great playlist too. Can't wait until our next visit!

What a little gem! Modern, classy, and with a distinct USP, it is an incredible spot to enjoy rare wines, great cocktails, artisan style dining, craft beers, etc, superbly situated along the best shopping street in Barnie (what’s not to like about Butcher’s Row?!) Good for solo, couples, group time, with a range of events and bookable experiences, it’s one to keep on your Hit List for future occasions I’ve visited a lot on my own, as well as a handful of times with my Sister. Visits were from July 2022 - March 2023 ranging from a weekend in Barnstaple to a seven-week stay I love Lisa and Al! During my many visits over the past year, they’ve become friends. Thank you both so much for being exemplary hosts, for furnishing a true haven, and for making it such an enjoyable place to ‘just be’

We booked for a cocktail masterclass on a Saturday afternoon. It was such a lovely treat! Lisa really looked after us and made the cocktail making so fun and interesting. The charcuterie board was delicious and the cocktails were fab! Everything was made with fresh ingredients and spirits and liqueurs we'd not tried before. Could have stayed there all day, it was brilliant. Thank you so much for having us - we'll definitely be back!

Crafty's knowledge, attention to detail and hospitality... second to none. I have been twice now and each time equally perfect. Great atmosphere, clean and inviting. Perfect for anyone who has a true interest in beers and wines. Very very impressed by a shop in Barnstaple serving natural (orange) wine. And a fantastic one at that. What a fantastic evening. A great spot to just truly chill out. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Good knowledge and happy to help in any way. Perfect place for a "get away" drink and Charcuterie with friends.

I spent last Friday afternoon (3/6/22) here with my wife and some friends. What a fantastic time we had here. A great range of beers on tap and in can. Good choice of wines too. We wanted pork pies but they had run out so we opted for a small cheeseboard instead. What arrived at our table was a work of art. It really showed me they cared about what they were serving up. The staff were brilliant, really engaging and proud of their produce. Wonderful afternoon. I can’t wait to return.
