Boss Burger

Delicious burgers, shakes and loaded fries as well as quick service by lovely staff. We came here on our way through from the Grampians back home to Melbourne, we had hiked and not eaten all day and this food saved our day 😂❣️we were turned away at 3 restaurants in Ararat as they didn't serve food between lunch and dinner (????), but I guess we were meant to end up at Boss Burger where we had a filling and tasty meal. We had the boss Deluxe Burger, boss fries, mac n cheese bites alias ballerz and a chocolate shake. We loved everything from first bite to last sip. Staff was working fast and efficient at all times as well as constantly providing service with a smile. I wish we had this joint in Melbourne, sadly we don't! If we come through Ballarat again we will make sure to stop and eat here!

First off the burgers and loaded fries were delicious. Nice place to stop and eat passing though Ballarat. They had heaps of takeaway orders so it felt like forever waiting for the food to dine in. I could see our food sitting at the pass for a while after it was ready... would have been nice if came a little quicker rather than sitting around. The rubbish bin was also really really full and made it hard to dump our trash after eating. Also the bathroom was out of paper towels to dry hands after washing. The girl with braids working the register and brining food was really nice and apologetic about the wait to everyone. She was working really hard!

Absolutely fantastic burgers, loaded fries and onion rings. The service is pretty damn good too! Expect to pay more than your average McDonald's meal but the prices are pretty pretty good for the quality of the food. This place is a must visit if your travels take you anywhere near Ballarat. I will be going back!

I feel like they started off really good, I loved it but lately our food is always cold or just not as good. Plus we had a weird experience with the staff, we walked in around 8 and the music was blasting so we asked the staff if they’d mind turning it down a bit, they said fine and then laughed and instead of turning the song down just changed it to another song and left it on repeat for the whole time we were there. I think it would be nice if the staff wore gloves too especially with Covid I think it would just be polite and nice for them to show a bit more care.

Went into the Ballarat store tonight after all my friends at work recommended it as their go to office lunch spot! My god, the food was absolutely fantastic! If you haven’t yet, try the Dingo fries, they are to die for! The team seemed so happy and were lovely with helping us choose what to order! I can see what all the hype is about- can’t wait to go back!
