Pretty cool place and very entertaining with the band playing. Sat at the bar near the band, and enjoyed some local beers while listening to the band. Band was playing some old school rock and roll and did welcome some of our requests. Price was good and so was the service. It was a nice ambiance and would definitely recommend.

It was alright. Your average 6th Street bar. They have nice outdoor seating and beer pong table already ready to go! Draft beer was $6

Awesome place on east 6th street Or dirty 6th street. Cocktails are good and fairly priced. Place is usually crowded and full of energy. Bands play good music. Somewhat empty on weekdays but totally crowded on the weekend. We had a blast at this place and always ended back at this place.

Great place to hang out and listen to live music! Generally its a chill spot where you can hang out with friends. They have bands many days of the week as well as live acoustic shows. There is a cool upstairs area where people can hang out as well. They have very loud DJs on the weekends as well.

Very vibrant place with a live music and a very affordable prices. There's not a lot of place to sit near the band, but you can easily find some place on the upper level. Must go, if you're visiting the 6th Street.

Ducked into this place to escape the heat. There was a great acoustic musician playing and an awesome bartender. Late at night it got significantly less classy but what did you expect from something called Chugging monkey. The upstairs area was great to get away from the crowds a little bit.

Great live music, good prices on alcohol good staff, one of the things that draws you this place besides the music is the guy at the door. He is so fun to watch, live of the party and very comic too. The is an upstairs and a patio to smoke and chill at ease. Bathrooms downstairs are better than the ones upstairs. Overall one of my top bars to visit when partying in 6th Street.

Have a great time with low cost drinks and live music. The band plays right next to the front window which allows you to enjoy the music without having to go inside. The second floor spans the length of the bar and also vies the stage. There is a covered patio in the back.

In my opinion you can always count on this place for great music. This is my favorite spot in dirty 6th. Nothing special about their drinks and the band plays the same songs each night but hey they play them really really well so I'm not complaining. There's usually an open spot to sit and if you get tired of the crowd they have a nice back patio up stairs.

Chuggin' Monkey is an awesome place to visit day or night. Great entertainment and drink specials at night and nice chill spot u ring the day. If you haven't been to Austin, you should try this bar.

This place always has a good DJ. Music is a big plus. Drinks cost the same as any place else downtown, so nothing shocking there. A lot of college kids running around here on the norm and not the biggest dance areas, but like I said, good dj's and music.
