I do not like this Walmart.(Lake Wales).Especially the wanna be "Customer Service Desk". The store sold my 85 yr old Mother, a Cricket cell Phone for $29 dollars and a $30 card to add minutes to it. It cost her almost $65 dollars. My Mom went to Walmart to buy a phone for the house, a landline. So when she came home with the cell phone she got very upset with herself because at her age she doesn't like to make mistakes. I told her not to worry about it that I would return it and get what she needed. So when I went right back to the store and went to customer service, not only did they give me a hard time, they refused to give me a refund. I asked to speak with the store manager and when that employee came, I knew that it was not the store manager. The lady had a yellow vest on and i don't believe Walmart store managers where yellow vest! I told her that someone in the electronic dept. took advantage of my elderly mother and sold her a cell phone when my Mom had asked for a house phone. And my Mom was sure that she told them that. The wanna be store manager gave me back the cost of the phone $29 dollars, but refused to refund the cost of the minutes card they sold with the phone. Even though you could clearly see that it had just been paid for and was not out of its package. Shame on you Lake Wales Walmart customer service and electronics dept. You took advantage of an old women and refused to make it right. Keep your family members, who might be a little confused, clear of this Walmart!!!

We are in town from NY and had to do some shopping by our rental property. I haven't been to many walmarts. One of the workers was very friendly and helped me at the deli. usually I don't feel comfortable in big stores, but it was nice and not super busy at the time I went. Check out was easy and parking lot was picked up.

I really love Walmart for their wonderful selections. I was disappointed to see that the Women's Plus Size department has really shrunk! The past few years I have been able to find some adorable dresses and shorts! I would love to see a return of your casual Plus size dresses in lots of colors and lovely patterns as well as an addition to your product line of bright and colorful longer length bike shorts in solid colors and up to date patterns. (No horizontal stripes please) I have recently lost 40 pounds and I need to update my wardrobe with some comfortable and seasonal clothes for the Summer. Please consider adding to your product line! Thank you.

Have been buying tires at walmart.com for years, always to pick them up on this store lately they had been the worst. Ordered 4 tires received the email to pick them up. I went there they told me truck wasn't unloaded. Why the email? They told me then call tomorrow and make an appointment. Call next day to make the appointment then they told me they don't have room for an appointment. After talking to a manager finally they gave me an appointment. When going to the appointment and arrived they told me only three tires arrived took almost an hour to check if they really received the other tire or was misplaced. They had no idea when they received the other one. I got hit on the tire center parking lot by other car waiting for them to figure out their messed. Last time buy tires from them.

It is ridiculous that you can't get any help and then you have to go up front and be a cashier for your own goods and get no employee discount. And instead of prices going down they almost double. So the only one making or saving any money is the owners of Walmart. Seems like with less employees they would cut prices. But as always we get nothing.

Most of the time I find great value products here. There is a problem with the checkout for quite some time now. I mostly shop anywhere else but they're because of that. After doing all this shopping no one wants to wait for someone to help them for 15 to 30 minutes. I understand they're trying to cut down on employees but it does not make the customer service satisfying! So I only go to Walmart if I have to. And that's only the Haines City Walmart that I refuse to go to. I have found that other Walmarts in different states as well as out of town accommodate much more for the customers.
