Last time we got takeaway coffees from there (middle of 2020) it was so bad we drunk half and couldn't finish them. Got back to Adelaide with remaining coffee which was tipped on the lawn. I recommend trying it as a sort of adventure tourism thing. But I must say the owner is very friendly. That patch of lawn still hasn't quite grown back...

The sign says "seriously good coffee", but I suggest it's a "seriously good misrepresentation". It's all very well to provide alleged high quality coffee beans, but you are also meant to know how to make a high quality coffee. The senior lady from the UK was nice enough, but your "little old lady act" can only carry you so far, good service & quality product is a requisite. My partner & I ordered two extra hot coffees & a scone each. Neither coffee was extra hot nor good quality, the scones not fresh nor heated enough. The jam provided was barely enough for one, let alone two scones, there was no cream as it hadn't been delivered yet, even though it was past 11 am. Suggestion, you can actually go to a supermarket & purchase cream in a small container as a reserve in your fridge, for some persons, this is called rocket science. We were provided plentiful butter & it was appreciated, but it was frozen & impossible to spread. We suggested the mirowave again, more rocket science. We were very disappointed with the product & outcome, yet, incredibly, reviewers were lavish with 5 stars for a substandard experience. I don't wish to be cruel to the old lady, but she needs to lift her game & raise the standard, mediocrity should not be acceptable. Cheers.
