Very nice church inside. I went when no services were being done. Open for prayer. Located on the Benedictine College campus. Search for St. Benedicts Church to see the original Abbey. Also located on the College campus.

Beautiful destination. This is one of the places we visited for our anniversary get away. The campus is amazingly clean and well maintained. The Abbey itself is situated right on the Missouri river, on a bluff with an amazing view. They were recently gifted a grant to build an overlook point, just behind the abbey, that is breathtaking. We went into the abbey itself, not sure if we were welcome to look around but wanting to ask, and ran into a very helpful student that told us where we could and could not go. Because of covid, there were less places to tour, but it was still beautiful. She told us that sometimes there is someone available to take people around and explain the history of the abbey, much like a guided tour. At that time there wasn't anyone for us because we came during mass, but it sounded like a really thoughtful service for the inquiring public.

The monks are incredibly friendly, I had such a good time with them! You can tell that they take their religion very seriously but do not let it get in the way of supporting the community in many ways. Their doors are always open and they never turn away anyone.

Beautiful Abbey Church built in the mid 1960's sits on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River. Modern architecture focuses on amazing frescos. Peaceful and serene.

Absolutely beautiful. A really enjoyable tour. The monk was surprisingly quick with a funny joke, and there was no subversive religious pressure. Would def recommend.

Beautiful, had a great community and this place always amazes me. I've gone many times. They have really great mass hours too.
