Compton Abbas Airfield

Came in today as a drop in for lunch. Squeezed us in but really recommend booking for eating. Had the chicken and tarragon pie with champ and veg. Off the scale tasty and filling. Lovely vibe and clearly a great choice for an unexpected lunch appointment.Even saw a rainbow across the airfield runway. Will definitely be back!

sorry a massive downgrade in review. It took over 25 mins to get 4 coffees!!....When we got them they weren't that good (just not very flavoursome coffee)... Tasted of nothing... certainly not £3 ish coffee. The lovely new tables were greasy spoon cafe sticky. The cakes have gone up in price and down on quality... Our table had the previous occupants used cups and plates on. We took them to the bar...to clear our table for us....and were asked to put to hem back on the table we were trying to use?!?! Such a shame...all that ££ spent and it's being let down by poor quality ingredients and sloppy cleanliness and weird rules ☹️

Absolutely fantastic hospitality and service, accommodated me and my friend for breakfast when we didn't pre-book on pooleys air day. After checking, they managed to squeeze us in. The food was absolutely stunning, the best I've had at an any aerodrome yet and possibly any other cafe! Decor and atmosphere was lovely, I'll definitely be coming back, guy Ritchie has clearly invested in to the general aviation community and it shows!
