Applebee's

Walked in with my fiance and 3 year old son. The waitresses and hostesses all stood in the back at the bar looking at us. 5 minutes go by before someone decides to seat us. No children's menu. As soon as we sit down, this very rude young waitress comes over and asks what we're drinking and if we know what we want to eat. It's Applebee's, so of course we know. I ordered my meal with no tomatoes (due to a medical issue). She even asked me what I said and I repeated it. I got my meal with tomatoes. No one ever came by to ask how things were or if anything turned out well. No servers were out in the dining room. No manager. No bartender. Fiance finishes his meal. Child finishes his meal. I haven't touched mine. Waitress comes by, puts a box on the table and the check. Never comes back. Didn't stay long enough to listen to "excuse me ma'am" We were there a total of 35 minutes and rushed out the door. This Applebee's is garbage. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money. Go to the McDonald's next door. At least you wont leave that hungry.

I went here on a date last night. Most of the staff was really nice. Business was super slow and there looked to be more staff than customers so why we had to wait 15 minutes just for someone to take our drink order was confusing. Of course, they got the order wrong and once the order was taken it took a long time for dinner to arrive. Everything tasted great except the fries tasted stale like they'd been sitting out for hours and microwaved. My dacuri was too watered down compared to pretty much anywhere else I could've gotten one. When it was time for the check, our waitress stood talking to another employee for over 20 minutes rather than getting it as requested. That bothered me since I had a babysitter waiting to be relieved at home. Bottom line: the place was just O.K. but I won't be going back until they hire more competent staff. I tipped generously because I always do but with the service received, I feel I over-tipped.

Came in today to have a few beers and just relax for a few. Emma was our server and was absolutely amazing; extremely sweet and attentive. I also have to shout out their manager Rebecca. Apparently, they didn’t have a bartender scheduled because she was given the day off due to having to work so much seeing as everywhere is short staffed nowadays. Can I just say, bravo for actually caring about your employees, and for stepping in and being the bartender for the day so your employee could get a break. Rebecca, you are what an example of an amazing manager and also what a manager should be. She also makes an awesome margarita! Keep up the awesome work ladies 😄

Service was EXTREMELY slow! Received our appetizers AFTER we received our dinner. Two dinners came out completely wrong. When check came we asked to break it down and extra things were added, plus they were all mixed up. Manager did a good job resolving the issues she was able to at that point, however it took forever for a simple dinner. Won't be back for a good while if ever! Bad ending to a great day!

My 6 yr old and I went for a girls night out.. She used to just get the pizza but decided to get the chicken tenders (she's been personally judging restaurant tenders LOL) and stated these tenders were "really crispy" and I was dying for a good fresh salad which was delivered..the Oriental is the Best. The waitress was friendly and prompt, food was fresh and plates/ silverware were clean. This location is our favorite even though Mechanicsville is closer. We have never been disappointed here as a whole family including Grandparents.

I understand being short staffed. But when your waitress was ask 3 times after asking if there was anything else we needed and still didn't bri g to us. But having another waitress bring to us even ask is ridiculous. But the supervisor and the other waitress whi helped attend to us was absolutely amazing and curious. Very good with their customer service.
