Orchards

A great location for apple picking. We’ve gone on the weekend when they’ve had all the activities for kids with the jump pad and caterpillar car and apple shoot. We have also gone during the week when it’s a little quieter and just enjoyed the playground and the apple picking. A great location for Anyone who wants to pick a variety of apples.

Justus Orchard is a family owned and operated orchard with plenty of room for the kiddos to run. Their prices were competitive to the other orchards and definitely a more affordable place for those on a budget. Bonus points for not having a wild crowd even with a giant tour bus of people there and their lines moved quick.

We absolutely love this apple orchard located in Hendersonville NC. Family run since 1968. There are so many to choose from but this one is our favorite and we've been to atleast 4 other ones in this area to compare. Very family friendly. They have wagons to pull to the field . one orchard, ill not name, we visited refused to let us pull the wagon to the field this one allows it. They have a playground, picnic area, yummy foods from donuts to fritters, bathrooms, great parking but get there early. Dogs allowed on leash. Give them a try.....UPDATE ....9/25/2023. Once again we returned to Justus. We chose to go on a Monday. The weekends can be very hectic and the car lines very long. We practically had the orchard to ourselves. I love the Justis family and all their staff. Yummy Donuts, fritters and apple juice. We were able to oick 1 peck each family unit. There is more apples in the store to purchase.
